This is an instance when an assault rifle would have been useful.

[[Multiple home invaders shot by the home defender]]
Whom I’m sure bleedign heart liberals will be pouncing all over trying ot have the defender arrested and guns confiscated-
One of the punks.
Someone said the “home defender” was also shot.
IF even one of the injured was one of the kids in the house, you can expect this to be broadcast far and wide telling us that firearms are dangerous and the pOlice should have been allowed to handle this.
And possibly sued for the perps injuries to pay for medical expenses and to support them for eternity since they’ll no longer be able to make a living in their chosen professions. It ain’t easy being a home invader. But if the dems proceed with their anti 2nd plans, on the job injuries will surely go down.
Helping keep mankind warn for 65 years.
Story is not clear if the 3 injured are other intruders. Was this a gang? Poorply written article and probably written this way on purpose as the homeowners gun SAVED lives of the innocent here and killed at least 1 intruder and possibly injured 3 other intruders? So much speculation due to the article being poorly written
Agreed, this is the exact opposite of every news story for the past week. Every story since then has been filled with more adjectives and adverbs, then you can count. This story tried to be as short as possible. Nothing about innocent faced, beautiful, darling, little angels at a fun-loving, traditional, slumber party.
Taking bets the perps are both illegals and gang members.
This isn't the first home invasion in that area. Folks down there had better remain well-armed, and if they do not (or cannot), it's all over for the Pocket. It'll become just another off-limits pustule in the ghetto.
But then again, that is probably the intent of the socialists in city government: redistribution through disarmament.
In California, this would've gotten the homeowner arrested. Best weapon to have handy during a home invasion is a shotgun. Awesome lethality and less chance of poorly-aimed rounds going through your neighbors' homes.
I cringe when I see these reports, especially when they are from my hometown.
The pocket area was a good area if I remember correctly. It’s close to a bad area but criminals know to go into the good areas so they don’t get a beatdown.
I live in a nice area, that also borders on the not-so-nice end of King County. It’s just a matter of time before the criminals at the bottom of the hill figure out that all the good stuff is at the top of the hill, and we start seeing crime here.
This version is written a bit better:

This article is so full of gaping holes as to just be mind boggling. Other articles fill in some of the pieces:
...a homeowner, a robbery suspect and two other people were in a gun battle outside of the home...
One robber dead at the scene, another arrested, and a possible third showed up at a hospital with GSW, and has been detained.
Does “outside of the home”, in Cali mean the homeowner will now be in trouble?
I honestly have no idea. Cali has become such a “government anarchy” that it is rapidly approaching “Taliban whimsical” as a form of government.
