On Monday, Alan Korwin, 2nd Amendment activist and author of Gun Laws of America, published a preliminary list of firearms and firearms accessories to be included in the yet-to-be announced, but much anticipated new version of the so-called Assault Weapons Ban.
The chief sponsor of the last ban, Sen. Diane Feinstein is said to be crafting new legislation now, which, if passed, President Obama would undoubtedly sign.

If they leak a huge list now it will be easier for them to compromise on just a few little things later. Any thing other than a single shot will be an assault weapon. Knives with more than 1 blade, banned. Cordless power tools will be the new weapon of choice for mass murderers. Cordless chainsaws, propane nail guns, etc.

They “leak” a plan that terrorizes the citizenry.
Then they release a plan that is less than the extreme plan that was leaked.
By comparison, the citizenry breathes a collective sigh of relief and does not resist.

The left wants to legalize drugs in part because trying to regulate them has failed.
According to their logic, we should be loosening gun regulations, not tightening them.
