Bonehead is acting like a mobster. For Bonehead, it's all about power.

That is what happens when you vote in a drunken idiot as Weeper of the House! (spit!)

Link does not work. Since this is a radio program, there is no article
to link to.

Boehner will reap what he is sowing - the RINOs will attain at least half of what they have long sought, driving conservatives from the decision making process.
The bad news is conservatives and their consituents won't simply vacate the decision making process.
BTW just heard there will be no vote tonight.

So who’s he going to get to take over the committee chairs if he fires them all because they won’t play ball with Obama?

Fox news just reported the vote was cancelled because it wasn’t going Bonehead’s way.

Yeah. Just heard that too.
To: Timber Rattler
He give chairmanships to some democrats, I’m sure.
To: tennmountainman
Do you think Boehner still thinks he's a shoo-in for the Speaker vote in January after these tactics?
He's acting like he's already secured the seat, but he doesn't have the official vote until January, right?
Maybe the caucus will remember that. It's not too late to put someone else forward for Speaker.
Boehner better watch out.

Levin has one agenda.......Boehner out and Cantor in and USA second.
I don’t trust Cantor. I trust the T-party.

Can’t say what the membership will do. However if he kicks off 12 or 13
more members off committees, he won’t have the votes to be re-elected
speaker.
To: redreno
Plan B has been pulled. Not enough votes. Meaning: his scare tactics aren't working on the conservatives. Stay strong, guys!

Any Leader who threatens their members with kicking them off chairmanships doesn’t deserve the power he has been given. Period!
To: tennmountainman
The 2014 round of primary challengers should feature a bunch of citizen-legislators, who won't give a $h!t about re-election or committes, and would vote based on their principles. And two years after that, a fresh batch of new faces (and so on).
They should be business-oriented people who can tell the lobbyists to bleep themselves. Realistic or not, it's a better idea than the crap-sandwich system we have now in both parties.

Likely they are only a handful of votes short. They will work all night to get them.
I have no idea what the outcome will be but they will be working late to do their best to get this through.
To: tennmountainman
That's what I'm thinking. I hope he's already crossed the point of no return.
What could compel the House Republicans to sign up for another two years of these tactics, no matter how this turns out?
That would just be an exercise in masochism.
