Newt Gingrich said that conservatives will have to accept marriage equality after three more states this year voted to allow same sex marriage and more will likely do the same in the 2014 election.

The former Speaker of the House said he didn

And you probably don't believe that Newt divorced twice and married 3 times.

The denial with some is astounding.-

Limbaugh has been married 4 times now number 5, is it. The moral majority follows him, so what's the problem.

My problem when it comes to Newt, is that I have developed an opinion regarding him over a long period of time. It’s a bunch of little things over time that have led me to recognize him for what he is.

So when his name comes up, people always remember the big good things he did. They don’t remember the myriad of stupid comments and misdeeds he has done over time.

It’s hard enough to convey a decision changing series of comments to others when there are massive misdeeds. It’s next to impossible if you’re just dealing with many small indicators.

Over time Newt became a no-go for me. Explaining the why of that, is what’s difficult.

41 years, congratulations!

You know, early on in life I always assumed saying congratulations to people for multiple years of marriage was just an empty nicety. As I grew and learned (having been divorced and re-married for 12 years now) I found out why people congratulated each other for this...

It is work to follow through on this commitment. You have to be able to communicate and rationally discuss your wants, needs, desires, your true emotions.

You have to lay bare all of your emotions and be honest about how things make you feel. What a naked feeling!

It is real work and it takes an immense level of trust to confide so deeply in someone else your most raw personal thoughts.

That is why we congratulate each other on this true accomplishment - because we are able to have a proper adult relationship that continues (hopefully) into eternity.

The one with Romney with Kennedy is much worse since he passed the gay marriage bill in the state of Massachusetts. Oh, how we forget, what a mistake it was to prop up Mitt as the candidate.

We Cain supporters were thrashed by the Newt Supporters. Now Cain is saying conservatives might need a third party and Newt is saying we need to accept Fudgepacker “marriage”.

That’s why we’re called the stupid party.

I briefly supported Newt. I see that I was mistaken.

If the GOP believes that the base will follow them on their pilgrimage to Sodom they are wrong.

Rick Santorum lined himself up with the Fries backer who was a Romney backer. Santos could not even carry his own state. He dropped out. Newt did not make him do that. Santos piled on negative ads in Florida against the speaker. He’s not Mr. Whistle with his big government ideas. Rick Santorum owns this mess, he was the problem. We never had a shot one on one to Romney. We never had a shot one on one to the media. He was never going to get the women vote. He was too far ultra right with his views. You didn’t get Huckabee in nor Santorum 2/ for 2. Bush got in because he was portrayed as a conservative. McCain, well he did it to himself. Romney, was a liberal and the base said hell no. Next time, we’ll probably lose. Personally, I think part of the base is done with the republicans just for putting Romney up.

her dad is like so many obama voters sadly.

The majority of blacks and Hispanics are against it and have no idea oabma supports it.

If we had a republican party which had some balls to stop this social madness and had spoken up about obama;s social issues then we could have done much better than what we did .

If folks on our sdie say shut up about social issues then they are only helping the homosexual , cross dressing, what ever weird crap agenda they have going

just read your first couple of lines and felt sick.

It;s disgusting to think a guy wants to insert it into a ass and push feces or a woman has to wear plastic strap on but then they tell us they should be MARRIED, what on earth has happened to these people, they should ave seeked mental help not run around shouting how they;re proud of how they have their very unhealthy and certainly unnatural sex.
But to demand, DEMAND they have special rights and have law,s and then play families is plain out sickening.

Have people who support this lost their minds or have they just not thought this out.
They want to support their friend who can damage their prostate, their colon, put feces on their body.

YUCK and Newt wants me to accept that, NO CHANCE, he wants in with the elitist perverted DC, north east crowd so he can go to their elitist snotty cocktail parties .

Each of us on this board has different interests and spends his or her time studying and researching different issues.

When we say something that appears shocking, hesitate before flaming. It may well be that when you learn what the other freeper has to offer, you end up agreeing.

That said, Mr. Fig, what you are saying is that the overwhelming majority must shut up and accept what a very loud, very wealthy minority is demanding, even though we have 5000 years of history that indicate that the lifestyle they are trying to force the MORAL MAJORITY to accept leads ultimately to societal and national decay.

You are wrong, Mr. Fig. We do not have to accept any massive and destructive change to our culture such as treating homosexuality as normal and acceptable.

Now, what you meant to say is what all the GOPE is saying, that if Republicans want to win elections, they will have to support homosexuality and other items from the liberal agenda in all its forms.

What you get wrong, Mr. Fig, is that “conservatives” are Republicans.

Every time one of you quasi-liberal Republican RINO’s opens your mouth, you push me a little further to abandoning the Republican party altogether and joining a truly conservative third party.

**********
The country is currently obsessed with the “fiscal cliff” not the real fiscal cliff which is the inevitability of total monetary collapse brought about by radical deficit spending to fund socialism, but the manufactured and propagandized “fiscal cliff” that if we don’t rush even faster into socialism, there will be economic disaster, which is nothing more than a budgetary debate.

But both fiscal cliffs are of less importance than the precipice that we are diving over and both are merely outward signs of a failed ideology.

We are headed over a cultural and societal cliff, and socialism is merely one component of that change in our societal that is a direct result of the advances made by the 1960’s radical as a result of their ‘culture war.’

We are being driven to disaster by radicalism, by leftism. We are going over the cliff into the pit of atheistic humanism, where “God” as a force in our national life is finally assassinated and there is no more talk of the separation of Church and State because the State IS the church and the atheistic emperor rules with sadistic lunacy.

The economy is just one relatively small part of the collateral damage of pushing the entire West over the cultural cliff.

I will not actively support the attack and destruction of the traditional Judeo-Christian family, which has long been one of the ultimate goals of the radicals, in an effort to win votes to put RINOs in office.

In honor of his passing, Mr. Fig and his RINO fellow travelers would do well to read Robert Bork’s “Slouching Towards Gomorrah.” Rather than give up and give in, we need not only to stand our ground boldly, we must begin our long-delayed forward attack against the left.

Is anyone keeping a list of all the issues these RINOs are telling us we need to abandon in order to win elections?

Let’s see:
1. Give up protecting the borders
2. Grant amnesty to some 30 million criminal entrants into this country.
3. Give up on the traditional Judeo-Christian family.
4. Fully embrace all forms of deviant sexuality.
5. Give up on the idea that low taxes on individuals and employers improve the economy.
6. Agree that those who earn more need to be punished by having more of their earnings confiscated by the government.
7. Give up on defending the 2nd Amendment.

Add to the list as you see fit.

What the RINOs and GOPE are advising is that we all become Democrats. Yeah, that will help Republicans to win elections. And that will surely help to advance conservative principles.

Oh, wait!

How could I have forgotten Mr. Fig’s first major betrayal of conservatism?

8. Admit that man’s activity (and especially industry and manufacturing, but also our ‘excessive’ lifestyles) are causing the entire planet, from the depths of the ocean, to farms, to the mountain tops, and all the way through the atmosphere, to heat up to dangerous, earth-threatening levels.

There is a sickness/weakness here because millions voted for a man (Romney) who supported laws for this. How does those same people justify themselves as being pure and bringing the ax down on others. It’s become nuts! The people are already lost. I have been thinking for a long while that our side is in a free fall. We have no leader thanks to the Gop-e neutering the conservative voice. What conservatives are left, are becoming trapped in a box. We are never going to get a good person and have any solid reforms without a bloody fight. Who will do it. Who wants to go into the pit to allow the media and people to butcher them apart. We are not going to stop some of the perversion because it’s here. I think that is what he’s saying. We need to slow it down though kids are being taught early on about gay rights vs allowing the parents to educate what they feel is right and wrong. More and more people are just going along for the times that we live in. The nation’s soul is about lost. God needs to help us.

Thanks. I’ll bookmark it.

He’s done much more than that over time. He can’t keep his yap shut, and he has no restraining bolt.

He can be brilliant presenting Constitutional matters one day, and issue an absolute blithering idiot’s comment the next in direct conflict with it.

I have no use for a guy like that. He’ll help undercut you time after time.

We may not want to listen to a man on gay marriage who has been married three times.

I've been married three times.

Ain't no such thing as gay marriage. Marriage has been, and ever shall be one man joining with one woman.

I've got some serious commentary about pi as well. It doesn't equal 3. All the laws printed can't make it so.
