Is SJL sporting her famous “double weave crown” or has she gone all out for the “triple weave”?
Maybe on her next trip to NASA to talk about astronaut flags on Mars she can ask to see the Star Trek containment field in action?
I gotta sit through an ad for an idiot movie to listen to an idiot? No thanks.
Sheila, you know what would have fixed the situation? A $300.00 piece of bullet proof glass. They said the perp shot out the glass and opened the door. If the glass is bulletproof, he isn’t getting in, the admin is calling 911 and the perp is taken down within 5 minutes.
I am pretty sure a few parents wouldn’t mind chipping in a couple of bucks each to make this happen. If the schools do it, they will need a bond referendum, approval from the EPA, several unions to open the door, take the glass out, watch the person install the glass and then apply for OT.
no no no... we just need a BIGGER SIGN that says “GUN-FREE ZONE”
The killer obviously didn’t see it
Reportedly, she throws cell phones and such at her staff when she gets all worked up.
Wonder what the employee turnover rate is in her office.
Just another opportunistic dimrat.
Has she ever shown such concern for citizens of her district that are murdered by illegals?
Guess she didn’t get that message.
But don’t classroom doors open outward?
Despite their intellectual failings, rocks, soap and hammers still have utility. Sheila Jackson Lee has none. She actually manages to be less than “good for nothing.”
How about Ninja Fighters at every school and classroom entrance.
That might be kinda' cool./s
And when a bad guy gets on the wrong side of the door?
(And I agree, I’m not keen on arming more government employees—er, teachers—though having someone there with the ability to defend could be worthwhile.

What schools need is retractable Democrats, who disappear when you don’t need them.
I noticed there was a pistol wedged in there.
Way too long...
Just damn!
My apologies...
After Michael Jackson died, SJL wanted to hang a proclamation in his honor.
Actually, a lot of schools around here already look like prisons.
Actually this is a great idea and an example of better is the enemy of good enough. Since classroom doors in my experience open in to allow hallway passing it would be easy to anchor two stout hooks on either side of the door and provide a steel bar to drop into them. Relatively inexpensive and would be unobtrusive. They could be installed by the school’s custodial staff during one weekend.
That’s a good defensive step, but windows would have to be bulletproof, as well. It still wouldn’t stop a determined murderer who simply slips in behind someone who is authorized to enter.
The bottom line is that human intervention will be required - the Maginot Line in WWII (or was it WWI?) showed that a human mind, focused on defeating defenses, will win just about every time.
