Twenty-seven years after driving from New York City to Chicago in a $2,000 Honda Civic for a job that probably wouldnt amount to much, Barack Obama, in better shape but with grayer hair, stood in the presidential suite on the top floor of the Fairmont Millennium Park hotel as flat screens announced his re-election as President of the United States.

What a wonderful idea. Thanks.
You could also use those copies as stocking stuffers :)
I wonder if the article will mention the voting fraud, his communist mentors, his deep and abiding love for the bearded ones in the middle east who have professed deep and abiding hate for the United States, Benghazi, Fast and Furious.
I doubt it.
Time is just another cheerleader in Obama’s cult of personality.
You’re right. MANY freepers, including our host, had made it clear that they would rather have Obama as president.
It was a triumph of ego over patriotism.
Is this another c cruel joke? Odumbo? Really?
Three more Nobel Peace Prizes, a Heisman Trophy and a Green Jacket must all surely be on-deck...
True, but he will be the one standing over the dead body.
I get where you are coming from.. Obama being just a hired gun for the shadow government.
Sadly, I now expect Dear Leader to be the Person of the Year every year for the rest of my natural life.
Surely they explain the choice somewhere?

Silence, peasant!
Oh, no. They will have to give Michelle Antoinette the honor as they pave the way for her run in 2016.
I just now saw your post. Mine, at 48:

Be glad you didn’t eat. I’m having trouble keeping mine down.
Cult of personality. Won’t end well.

I don’t know. I think that depends on whether or not they think it is necessary to pretend to actually have a presidential election again.
Sad to say, I am not being sarcastic. I am 65, and I truly believe that I will never again witness an honest presidential election. Last night, I told my husband that I see no point in wasting my time any more in any sort of political activism. He said I was giving up, but I told him that I am just facing reality. Our republic has ended.
seen it too.
Maybe they’re trolls or they’re the wishy washy lets reach out , lets us be together save the people, help the illegals, ignore social issues, who cares about homosexual agenda’s idiots.
The man has increased food stmaps, unemployment, debt, spending, military gone to crap, foreign affairs gone to crap, we’ve become weaker, foreclosures and that;s just a few and he;s man of the year.
You can;t even make this crap up anymore.
The real shock is that he hasn’t been named Man of the Year every single year since 2008. Given the way Time and the soon-departed Newsweek have slobbered all over him since late 2007, it is a shock each year he hasn’t won.
The good news is that Time and its stupid choices will inevitably join Newsweek on history’s ash heap.
You're not really going to buy that rag, are you? Shiatsa, I hope not.
I remember in the old comic strip, “The Wizard of Id,” the little tinpot king always won the kingdom’s popularity contest.
We’re about there, now.
Genocide does have it origins and history tells us how it unfolds. If people would just take some time to consider WHY there is evil in the world....
Well, that is preachin’ to the choir, eh?
Our electoral process has become so perverted and corrupted, the idea of a remotely honest election at the presidential level is a thing of the past. The best alternative at this point is to concentrate on keeping state governorships and legislatures out of the democrats' tentacles as much as possible. That'll at least help somewhat slow down the decline.
