Courage means doing the right thing even when you are afraid of negative consequences. Perhaps the governor’s reserves of courage were used up last week?
(I haven’t read this specific bill, so I can’t say for sure that it is overall a good thing.)

Ahhh, I see that the Governor is an advocate of a “Gun Free” zone where more massacres can occur.

How does the state regulate the possession of legal arms in a church, why wouldn’t be strictly up to the church?

If there are no public schools there can be no public school massacres.

Hopefully the Michigan Legislature will pass the bill again. And again, if necessary. It’ll take guts, but Snyder should be put on the spot.
He’s evidently willing to be tough on unions but not on preventing crime.

Somebody should ask the governor if he is going to travel around the state without any armed guards.

Under the proposed law, concealed weapons would have been allowed in schools QUESTION: How many concealed weapons were involved in the Newtown case?
