Texas online gun superstore Cheaper Than Dirt posted on Facebook today:
Cheaper Than Dirt! is suspending online sales of firearms effective immediately. We are reviewing our policy internally, and will continue to be the leader in the outdoor industry with our full line of gear and accessories.
They have also removed all firearms from their website.
Another business capitulates. We don't need gun grabbers when our own side will bend over and do whatever they want. I have spent thousands at CTD but will hold off on any further spending until they do the right thing. Tell them what you think on their Facebook page
So not only are they caving on weapons sales, they're tripling the price of related accessories.
Just bought two Mag-Pul 30 rounders from Midway USA and got them last Friday for $12.30 each, now they're "discontinued by manufacturer" on the site.
Next thing you know, the NRA will be sending letters to members strongly urging them to follow the governments advice to register our stuff. We will all be endangered at that moment.
Nope, they're starting to cave, too. See #43 up thread.
I work part time in a small shop, will report if we get any calls on this,.. but someone needs to come out with the info on these calls and spread it far and wide
Who's the manufacturer? I was hoping to get to the end of this thread before seeing the manufacturers were caving. Did they get a phone call? How many businesses will fail and how many more employees will this bring about? Hussein is enjoying this.
I would be surprised if they bothered calling the small shops.
The impact would be shutting down the volume sellers.
Knuckling under to a coordinated effort by The Machine won't hurt Dick's so much, but will impact Academy a bit, and will seriously kink CTD's colon. Those three (and any more who bow to The One) better have had good seasonal sales up until today, because they will see at least something less from here on in. WalMart? Hell, they'll just sell more of something else, likely from the PRC.
Hell, lets have some more retail and manufacturing layoffs to make things even jollier than they are.

“Belk says Merry Christmas...”
You bet people notice. I did.
I added my two cents as well.
Probably 1000s of leftists posing as customers.
MagPul. However, it was just the variation that I bought that was discontinued. I should have looked more before I posted. Midway still has several options for magazines for the AR. 10-round, 20-round and 30-round are all in stock and available for purchase. Various manufacturers, including MagPul. It just looks like what I bought was on close-out, due to being replaced by a new variant.
Same here. Brother and I bought 10 AR mags this weekend, but going to the gun show this weekend and will probably buy like 30 or so AR and AK.
what are the record requirements for accessories? we know the long term requirments for the actual firearm but the other associated items?
Ok, but not holding my breath on manufacturers not eliminating certain lines.
Go to Midway USA. They still have several in stock to choose from, all under $20 for 10, 20 and 30 round mags.
Sent them an email to shove their catalog up their a$$!

They’re not gonna continue sh*t. I’ll be surprised if they survive 6 months.
Preppers Ping. If you don’t prepare, when it is too late - it’s too late.

The leftists are cheering this move.
If they had quietly phased out the firearms sales in a couple of months and then gone back to being "that place with the catalog that I look at while eating dinner on the day it shows up in the mail," they might have managed to not piss off quite so many people.
