RE :”The current Speaker, John Boehner, while a decent man and a hard working representative for his district in Ohio, is not the right person for the job at this critical juncture in American history. In a cogent and insightful analysis of Mr. Boehner, Peter Ferrara writes: Boehner is no match for Obama on the national stage. He cannot press the economic arguments articulately. He does not have a compelling personality. Obama is running circles around Boehner with outrageous falsehoods, and Boehner cannot raise a peep to challenge him. Boehner has managed to allow Obama to turn the Bush middle class tax cuts passed by a Republican majority Congress ten years ago into the Obama middle class tax cuts, supposedly opposed by the House majority Republicans.”

In late 2008 I was warning here to get rid of this guy, and then two years ago it was impossible to do because of the automatic R win. My guess is that no one wants his job now.

Not only is Bohner no good at fighting by getting messages out but he is incapable of leading the Rs as a team to beat Dems, But he has shown he is capable of giving in each time after each battle is lost, signing the surrender at each end.

Watch Dems, They pick their battles to get the public on their side against Republicans and then stick together, and beat the crap out of them. And some are strategic paying off after the next election,

So Obama gave in on tax cut extensions 2 years ago (prior lame duck), big victory?? Now being re-elected he can make it into a fight and get Rs blamed for anything wrong. That wasnt possible two years ago.

Boehner would fight if the average Joe Blow Congressman wanted him to.

Joe Blow Congressmen see little upside in a fight for principles that would bring a deluge of critical media scrutiny on their heads.

Joe Blow Congressman will not fight for conservative principles until he gages more upside to fighting than downside to shutting up and going along.

Joe Blow Congressmen will not fight until we force them to.

Nothing can possibly change for the better until We The People put max heat on the GOP. Copy rants at FR and send to our Congressmen. They will respond if enough of us let them know their jobs are at stake. There is no reason in the internet age to not be a virtual penpal with those who can do so much to destroy our society and freedoms.
