Try as I might, I’ll never understand those people.
“Never Again’’ is happening again.
They're not thinking, they're emoting. They're mostly urbanites, and have been trained to feel that guns are 'icky', and that people who own guns are 'icky', and shouldn't we rely on the police anyway? Somebody should do something (but certainly not us).
It's not so much Jewish thing as it is an urban thing ... cities breed a certain passivity.

Chicago, IL In the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is calling on Illinois, and the nation, to pass an outright ban on assault weapons, and to considerably change concealed carry laws in the US.
Sounds about right to me. Probably not too many Jewish people living in rural “flyover country”.
