WASHINGTON Two days after the shooting deaths of 26 people at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school, Sen. Dianne Feinstein pledged Sunday that she would introduce new gun-control legislation at the beginning of next years congressional session.
It [the bill] will ban the sale, the transfer, the transportation and the possession, the California senator said on NBCs Meet the Press. Not retroactively, but prospectively. And it will ban the same for big clips, drums or strips of more than 10 bullets.

Oddly enough, DiFi didn’t jump at the chance to introduce new CCW expansion on the heels of the Clackamas mall shooting, in which a CCW holder stopped that particular massacre in its tracks. http://www.nwcn.com/news/oregon/183609901.html
It won’t decrease the shootings in Oakland. I can tell you that much.
DiFi just STFU!
DiFi just STFU!
I wish this woman would retire. She is beyond tiresome.
Never let a good crisis go to waste.
DiFi is an old hag.
from who?
DiFi, the reason we have the 2nd Amendment is to protect us from tyrants like you.
All politicians should be asked if they have armed bodyguards and are they willing to restrict their armament or give them up entirely.
More gun control. Oh, goodie. I guess she prefers the U.S. to be more like Norway — where the gun control laws are much stricter, and the 2011 sniper killed 77 people.
Her bill would be an outright ban on certain weapons and all hi-cap mags. No grandfathering, no posession. It would require turning these in or having them confiscated and/or likely a felony to be caught in possession.
It is easy to say, but I'll bet there are some democrats who wont go along with it, either. And since when is a .223 rifle an "assault" weapon??

Not only does the idea of new “gun control” legislation piss me off. It especially ticks me off when done as a knee jerk reaction. And quite frankly the absolutely horrendous “attempt” at writing a report by this reporter in the LA Times is just another kick in the teeth. Didn’t an editor look at this!
Do you still think that she has any chance in hell of passing guncontrol with all of us watching congress.
One tack that may help is to point out that in all of these recent cases, the shooter has been a diagnosed psychotic. The fruits of deinstitutionalization. Commit the crazies, and the rest of can keep our guns.
