President Barack Obama, in a brief address to the nation, offered his condolences to those who lost loved ones in the elementary school shootings in Newtown, Conn., and said it is time to act to prevent similar tragedies.
"As a country we have been through this too many times," he said, ticking off recent shootings across the nation. "These neighborhoods are our neghborhoods, and these children are our children, and we're going to have to come together …to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics."

Anyone noticing all the shooters are young white males? I’d be interested to find how many of them had been subjected to psychological drugs... ritalin, paxil, etc.

Chancellor Obama would like nothing better than to use this tragedy as an excuse to send the Obamastaffel door to door confiscating legal firearms.
Posters on here can ridicule him but I saw him make his statement and he had a hard time talking, would stop talking, then start again and he did have tears. As soon as he made the statement, he walked off. He was definitely affected by this and that is how we all felt.
The killer’s mother was a kindergarten teacher and that’s where he started firing so most of these kids are going to be 5 years old. He did kill his mother in that room.
Hussein may take this as another push to try to get rid of guns, but he was very disturbed about all these dead kids.
I was surprised that the reporter covering that speech (he was reading notes) that obama made, commented that: “the president of the US, did not say God bless America, I am surprised”.
Actually, I was shocked the guy said that on camera. (It was our local FOX network.)

He already did use it to push for gun control. That’s what his speech was about. That is why he carefully listed several other shootings.
He’s a bonafide sociopath. By his very nature, he studies others emotions and mimics them. He’s a stone and I am sure his handlers told him he needed to go up there and show emotion.

Liberals, however, are unable or unwilling to see the connection.
