State police are responding to a report of a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dickinson Drive, school officials said.
Police are reporting a number of injured parties. The nature of their injuries is not clear.

It's the easy way out, the intellectually lazy way of looking at things. It is the reason the TSA strip-searches little kids and grandmothers, looking for "things". Liberals always want to blame "things", and look to solve problems by dealing with those things. They fail to see the real reason. The Israelis take a different approach. They look for the person, not the thing.
My guess is that the liberals will use this tragedy to further their gun control political agenda. Never mind that the state laws in both NJ and CT are tough on gun control. Schools are already "Gun-Free, Weapons-Free" zones. Really does a lot of good, doesn't it? Shows how ineffective controlling things is. You've got to deal with the person, not the things.

Agreed. Schools breed evil. The media breeds evil. Broken homes breed evil. We MUST return to God, family, ethics, morality, DISCIPLINE, respect, honor, integrity, patriotism, responsibility, love, honesty..
They've all been told they're worthy of a trophy, no matter what. When that trophy doesn't arrive, they're not emotionally equipped to handle it. They think it must be _________fill in the blanks'______fault.
We have cheapened life until it is just another commodity. And killing children has been “legal” in this country since the early 70s. This is no different

Another massacre in a gun-free zone.
Unfortunately, that’s the one place it’s virtually impossible to challenge a ban (federal property). I will say, however, that the commander at Ft Hood specifically allows CHL holders to carry on post (IIRC from my research a year or so ago). Most stupid reasoning in the world to prohibit people who are trained in the safe and lethal operation of weapons from having access to said weapons.
