Instead of a check, he could ask to have it given him in new (single?) coin of the realm?
Coin Week The Coin Analyst: Trillion-Dollar Platinum Coins and San Francisco Eagle Set Number Released
Notice: there are actual no plans to mint a $trillion$ coin.
According to the police, Trayvon was shot once in the chest, one shell casing was found on the ground and the magazine was still full. This is not how semi-automatics work. When a semi-automatic weapon is fired, the bullet travels out the barrel, the slide cycles backward ejecting the empty shell and another round is drawn from the magazine and inserted in the chamber ready to fire. So each time the trigger is pulled, a shell is ejected and another round is placed in the chamber until the magazine is empty. At that point, the slide remains locked in the open position, waiting to be cycled manually. If the stories are being reported accurately (and given the news medias consistent lying in this case thats certainly not a given), then this is not normal behavior.
There is a way to fire a round without cycling the slide. If you put a hand on the slide to hold it in place and then pull the trigger, you can prevent the normal cycle. In that case, the magazine would remain full.
If Trayvon was grabbing the gun, this could explain the situation.
ABC also used the lower resolution video so they could continue to characterize Zimmerman as a white male.
Yeah, Rodney King comes to mind. But I think Zimmerman would have to be acting in a governmental capacity for Civil Rights charges to apply.
I have never kept a magazine full. Just my preference.
Yep.
I hope Zimmerman goes after every last one of these scumbag Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms.
Howard University is the latest school to join ABCs ABC News on Campus program, the network announced Tuesday.
The program started in 2008 creates bureaus at universities around the country, staffed with journalism students who work with ABC News producers to report local stories, some of which are featured across ABC News platforms many appear onABCNewsOnCampus.com.
Candace Smith, a senior broadcast journalism major, has been named Howard Universitys bureau chief. Smith interned this summer with ABCs Good Morning America in New York City; she previously interned at Fox-owned WTTG in Washington.
Zimmerman got off one shot. The KelTec he had, failed to chamber another cartridge. It did not jam. That means something prevented the slide from cycling. Zimmerman would have had a very difficult time racking the slide with Martin on top of him if the first shot hadn’t been so lethal.
Either Martin had his hand on the slide when the gun was fired. It was jammed between the two bodies. Or Zimmerman limp wristed the gun when it was fired allowing it to move so much the recoil that would have normally cycled the slide and chambered another round caused the gun to flop around.

Another possibility would be Zimmerman bracing the rear of the pistol against his body which would prevent the action from fully cycling.....
This case just becomes a bigger travesty
Good that Zimmerman hired the Beasley Law Firm for his civil cases. The discovery in his civil actions are going to be even more revealing....heck they may even find which Correctional Facility DeeDee (Witness 8) was picked up from for her Apr 2 deposition...
And, all Floridians, make sure to primary out Gov Rick Scott and AG Pam Bondi in 2014. They put in SA Angela Corey when the Seminole SA Wolfinger would not play along with the Black Racists. They can end this travesty by pulling Corey...but refuse to do so
Meanwhile, my county goes bankrupt paying for this travesty
Speaking of which, if Zimmerman is found guilty, does that impact his suit against NBC? Is that NBC’s only defense, hoping that Zimmerman is found guilty?
Not necessarily.
If he were to be convicted (as long as his trial is in Seminole County, with Seminole residents on jury, he will not be convicted)...and his case was overturned on appeal based on certain factors (like media slander that prevented a fair trial)....the media is not off the hook.
NBC will most likely settle out of court...especially if the Duval SA continues to pursue criminal charges and does not drop the case. The longer the criminal case goes on, the more it is kept in the news, and the more damage is done to Zimmerman
Too bad we don’t have Candace Smith investigated by the FBI to see if she might have a racist background. All leftists have a trail of racist hate expression. They use racism to advance their agenda whenever they can possibly twist it to their purposes.
The racists pigs who did this as “news” are responsible for many innocent whites being attacked by mobs of blacks and and individuals. That is addition to what they did to Zimmerman. They ran a race hate rally nationwide.
Which seems more likely: that a semi-auto firearm would cycle well enough to completely eject a round without stove-piping, but not enough to strip a round from the magazine, or that a firearm with e.g. a ten-round magazine would be described as having a "fully loaded" magazine if it had nine in the mag and one in the chamber [I don't remember the actual capacity of Mr. Zimmerman's pistol]? While I suppose certain firearms might possibly short-cycle as described, and Mr. Zimmerman might have had such a weapon, it seems more likely that the language of the report was chosen to make clear that the firearm could not have been fired twice since it was last loaded, than to describe an unusual malfunction mode.
I SMELL B$
Even IF that story were true, why didnt they play the HD video and hour later when they got back to the station?
why did they NEVER play it until recently? but instead keep playing the lo-res version?
I hope zimmerman OWNS the station when he is through with them

What I quoted said the empty casing was on the ground. If the casing were stove-piped in the gun, then that would represent a relatively common malfunction. In that scenario, the number of rounds in the magazine would depend upon whether Mr. Zimmerman topped off the magazine after loading the chamber; unless the report gives a number of rounds, however, I wouldn't rely upon the term "full" to distinguish between the topped-off and non-topped-off scenarios (with a ten-round magazine, a gun with nine in the mag and one in the pipe would often be considered "fully loaded", whether or not it would be possible to top of the mag and re-insert it while keeping a round chambered).
