Today, Robert J. Muise, Co-Founder and Senior Counsel of the American Freedom Law Center (AFLC), is presenting oral argument at a hearing in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma on behalf of Captain Paul Fields, a Tulsa police officer who was summarily punished for refusing to attend a mandated Islamic proselytizing event held at a local mosque.
The hearing will be held before Chief Judge Gregory K. Frizzell at 1:30 p.m. CT in Room 411 at the federal courthouse located at 333 West Fourth Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The media and public are welcome to attend.
Muise will be arguing in support of AFLC’s motion for summary judgment, which asserts that the undisputed facts demonstrate that the City of Tulsa and its senior police officials retaliated against Captain Fields – a practicing Christian – for exercising his constitutional right to the free exercise of religion.

I am rather surprised that the local Christian leaders have not become involved in this in a big way.
They need an example punishment for this officer, lest no one would attend these brainwashing sessions.

Forcing people into religion is one of the reasons we left England way back when, wasn’t it.
It was so important, they included in the Constitution to prevent government from establishing a religion.
I guess it’s that pesky “living document” we call the Constitution, just like liberals it changes ideology to adapt to specific and individual needs in order to further the cause.

...Once again{unfortunately}it seems as though most of the respondents have been living on the Moon for the last twenty years. Oklahoma has been a hotbed of Islamic growth and influence for quite some time now , including the undeniable signature left for all the world to see at the old Fed Bldg. This event predated 911,however,when the Islamic world saw the burning remains of Christians in Waco endorsed by the then present administration it became as a beacon to them, which guided them to even more atrocities ,and rest assured, they are watching and learning from the present administration as well.

When they usurp constitutions it is time to make life difficult for them.
If we had a real Congress, the chick tyrant judge would be fearing for her job. Her compatriots on the appeals court should be fearing for theirs as well.
Unfortunately, we are so corrupt as to probably be fit for nothing other than despotic government.
