GENEVA (Reuters) - Atheists and other religious skeptics suffer persecution or discrimination in many parts of the world and in at least seven nations can be executed if their beliefs become known, according to a report issued on Monday.
The study, from the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU), showed that "unbelievers" in Islamic countries face the most severe - sometimes brutal - treatment at the hands of the state and adherents of the official religion.

I guess it is further evidence of what psychologists say about people: they believe that every person has some form of psychological malfunction.
Of course, that assumption raises the question about the definition of normal psychological makeup, but then what do I know?
Your argument makes way too much sense for the average atheist or homosexualist activist to understand.
God, being in a very agreeable mood, decided that if you don't believe in Him, Heaven, or Hell, than you just return to the dust from which you came. You are no more, forever.
I can think of no greater punishment than to be denied eternal life.
