Former House Speaker and Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich said the current GOP would be incapable of competing against Hillary Clinton should she run in 2016.
Gingrich on NBCs Meet the Press called Clinton a very formidable person who is married to the most popular Democrat in the country.
If [the Republicans'] competitor in 16 is going to be Hillary Clinton, supported by Bill Clinton and presumably, a still relatively popular President Barack Obama, trying to win that will be truly the Super Bowl. And the Republican Party today is incapable of competing at that level, Gingrich said.

I think he’s wrong on this one. Hillary is popular with some older women, but the newer generation couldn’t care less. Plus she has turned out to be such a wuss when dealing with Obama (and being his fall gal) that she reveals herself to be exactly what she has always been: a traditional female power behind the throne who has spent her entire life cleaning up the messes of the powerful men to whom she has attached herself.
By 2016, 2/3 of all Americans will be receiving some kind of government assistance/subsidy/entitlement. The GOP won’t be able to compete with any Democrat at that point.
That said, I think Republicans today would be incapable of competing against anyone, of any race, color or creed, gender or transgender...
She'll most likely have her SCOTUS seat by then anyways.
Just think of the money we could save if Barry would just hand over the keys to Slick and Mrs. Willie in 2017. “Elections” are a farce and a joke these days and the GOP isn’t interested in getting elected anyway. No vulgar and lie-filled “campaign ads”. The various tribes living on this North American land mass could really get a break and nobody would have to risk getting caught committing voter fraud.
Newt Gingrich: Republicans Today Would Be Incapable of Competing Against Hillary Clinton in 2016
She already hs bigger coconuts than most of them and she was given her spine by bill who ripped out his own and gave it to her the only thing she is missing is self thinking and she will never have that tied to liberal communism !
You make a good point, even if you were being a bit sarcastic. If we didn’t give a crap about the White House anymore, then the Republican congressmen could stop worrying about keeping the party from looking too “extreme” to those so-called independents and moderates that the GOP presidential candidates keep reaching out to and discovering that they all vote D no matter what.
Do you think the Chinese will still be willingly buying our debt by that point. I’m thinking we will be so damn broke that the blame will finally rest where it belongs.
I think you’re right and SCOTUS is where she’s headed...in exchange for her valiant service in the cause of two Dem crooks, the first one being her husband (a petty grifter) and the second one being the Indonesian (a traitor).
I think Hillary will be too old. She’s not holding up well and Bill’s already has a heart attach. These campaigns are to brutal she’ll play coy and milk it for all it’s worth. She won’t run
Wrong, having learned at the knee of John McCain and Mitt Romney Republicans can slaughter their own.
If Hillary runs, she wins.
Nothing Obama does or doesn’t do will affect that.
Ya, they were busy slobbering all over themselves while punching the ticket for Obama.
Of course, most of the past two generations have been totally brainwashed by unionized government public school teachers.
So this was all pretty much predictable.
There’s several issues that might pop up. First, there will be questions still left from the ambassador’s murder....which this administration simply will not answer. The fact that no one has spoken so far...indicates that Hillary might be playing some fair role in what happened. Second, there’s a huge deficit issue brewing by 2016...which no Democrat may want to handle...figure twice what we have today, and it’ll be a major mess to walk into. Third, and final...she will be fairly old and probably not have the energy to run a massive campaign.
Glad to know it’s still 1987. I had the most awful dream that it was 2012 ...
