Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns called both the current secessionist movement and elements of the Tea Party racist during an interview late last month on NBC's "Meet the Press."
The award-winning filmmaker doubled down on those accusations during an interview with Breitbart News.
Burns is currently promoting "The Central Park Five," a documentary detailing how five innocent teens were convicted of a horrific rape which shocked the Big Apple back in 1989.
The filmmaker, who works primarily on projects for PBS, says there wouldn't be a birther movement with a President Joe Biden in the White House. Burns then turned his attention to the Tea Party, saying a friend who attended a Tea Party event told him "almost every one she met there invoked the 'n-word'" about the president, he recalls.
That friend isn't the only one hearing that racial slur of late, he alleges.
"I have heard in last four years the 'N-word' used more often than in the rest of my life," the 59-year-old filmmaker says, adding Obama's detractors routinely call the president "un-American," the "other" and a Muslim.

Fact of nature: You tell the average teenager or twenty-something they are something they are not often enough, they decide if they are getting the blame anyway they might as well do it.
Of course, they've heard the word fairly often in what passes for music in some circles, and some figure they have an equal right to use a word a particular demographic conspicuously uses to identify itself.
Needless to say, the current administration has set race relations back by decades, if the tolerance levels aren't the worst they have ever been.
The majority of the TEA Party folks I know are a little older demographic and a little more civil.

Was there a conservsative or a faux Republican on the show at the same time to refute this? This is a part of the the problem - these libs say this crap and whatever Republican is sitting next to him doesnt challenge it at all. You know David Gregory is gonna sit there and nod his head in agreement so who is standing up for us? If the Pub’s want any more of my money or support - I need to see them effectively challenge this crap every time it happens in front of a TV camera.
A REAL friend with a REAL allegation to make would have a REAL NAME and would also be REAL PROUD of both his/her NAME and his/her accomplishment in exposing Tea Party attendees!!

Ken Burns who’s work is not good enough to get investers makes sure to cement his bonifiedes to insure the “rich’ pay their fair share of his costs through PBS.
I have only been to three Tea Party events but have never heard the N-word used. To be honest, I can’t think of the last time I heard a white person use it; it seems to be exclusively a black thing.
Ken Burns is clearly MOST definitely a pedophile. I know it for a fact, as I’ve seen it in one reply and clearly corroborated in another.
