One of the kittens was dead when deputies arrived at the home late Sunday afternoon.
Deputies said Rodney J. Blanchard, 49, asked a visitor at his home to get him a beer out of the freezer.
When the visitor went to the freezer, Blanchard told her that there were kittens inside of it, deputies said. According to deputies, the visitor tried to get them out of the freezer, but Blanchard pushed her out of the way.
The visitor left Blanchard's home and called the sheriff's office.
When deputies approached the freezer, they heard cats "meow," and they found the kittens inside individual sandwich bags on the bottom shelf, authorities said.
A white calico cat was dead. Three others were alive, but they were shaking and covered with fleas.
They were taken to the Emergency Care Center At Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists in Largo, and they are now in the care of the SPCA.
LOL.... Like the local barber shop quartet song... Cat’s in the Kettle at the Peking Moon..... “Cat’s in the Cradle...”
I had a typo and clicked on the red underline accepting the spelling that showed up!!! Freudian Slip... My cat hope not!
Spell check can be vicious. :)
“Why waist good kittens by killing them in a freezer? They make excellent bait for shark fishing or snake food.”
To keep them fresh until he could go fishing, of course. [just kidding]
Generally being described as possessing IQs in the "bright normal" range,[6][19] although they are more likely to have low/average intelligence.[19] A sample of 174 IQs of serial killers had a median IQ of 93. Only serial killers who used bombs had an average IQ above the population mean.[20] Often, they have trouble staying employed and tend to work in menial jobs. The FBI, however, states, "Serial murderers often seem normal; have families and/or a steady job."[13] Other sources state they often come from unstable families.[6]
They were often abusedemotionally, physically and/or sexuallyby a family member.[6]
Fetishism, partialism, and necrophilia, are paraphilias which involve a strong tendency to experience the object of erotic interest almost as if it were a physical representation of the symbolized body. Individuals engage in paraphilias which are organized along a continuum; participating in varying levels of fantasy perhaps by focusing on body parts (partialism), symbolic objects which serve as physical extensions of the body (fetishism), or the anatomical physicality of the human body; specifically regarding its inner parts and sexual organs (one example being necrophilia).[21] A disproportionate number exhibit one, two, or all three of the Macdonald triad (see below) of predictors of psychopathy:
Many are fascinated with fire setting.[6]
They are involved in sadistic activity; especially in children who have not reached sexual maturity, this activity may take the form of torturing animals "[6]

Guy picks the parrot he wants from the pet shop. Shop owner says - Oh no, you don’t want that one! He was owned by a pirate and he has a filthy mouth... cusses up a blue streak!
Guy says “Its cool - that is the one I want.”
Guy gets home, and after awhile, sure enough, the parrot starts cussing. Guy grabs parrot and stuffs him in the freezer.
Comes back 1/2 hour later and asks the parrot what he has to say for himself. Parrot says “I am so sorry sir. I cannot believe the language that came out of my beak. I apologize profusely, and it will never happen again... And by the way, what exactly did the turkey do?”
May Basement Cat have his way with this man’s soul.
Sharks don't eat kittens. They eat squid, mackerel and humans.
That's unfortunate. I've never met a calico/tortoise shell cat that I haven't gotten along with well.
Actually they like small yip yap dogs with rhinestone
collars if trolled at the right speed.
The flash of the rhinestones brings them up from
the depths.
A friend of mine kept his dead cat in the freezer but
it was already dead. He was saving it to use in an art
project.
You may be kidding but that is precisely why these kittens were in the refrigerator.
My cousin used to run charter fishing out of Ft. Myers and he told me that what these low life scum do is catch abandoned kittens and puppies and put them in the fridge to let them die. By the next day, they've either suffocated or frozen to death but they're still fresh for using as bait...........
The visitor sure picked a winner to go home with.
Hope the dumb bitch learned a lesson but I kinda doubt it.
She’ll probly end up in a fl canal some where some day.
Kitty’s are sure happy though.x-cept for 1.
What a POS. She was probably very lucky to get out of his house alive.
I hope Blanchard meets someone in prison who weighs about 320 pounds, is ten times crazier and sick than Blanchard himself, and has about as much regard for Blanchard's life as Blanchard would have for a fly.

Yea. That’s what he told you...that it was already dead. An art project? What? Did they have a dead cat display down at the local museum? I’d keep an eye on that guy if I were you....
Actually in ancient Egypt, there was a cat goddess, Bastet, where she would come after you in the afterlife if you intentionally harmed a cat/kitten. Bastet was a human female with a cat’s head.
Oh, he used stuff like that in artworks quite a bit.
I won’t even tell you about the pigs.
Hopefully this guy will meet her.
So, Let me get this straight. You have a “friend”. He is an artist of some sort. He keeps dead cats and pigs in his freezer. To make some kind of art. Uh huh.
Can you make money at this or is it more of a hobby?
Maybe his friend is Damien Hirst.
What is wrong with you?
Do you always make things up out of whole cloth?
