If the "cliff" includes a shutdown such that the "one-time-stimulus-that-occurs-every-frickin-year", then all the better. It's just $787 billion continually going into Ø's slush fund.

I honestly believe that no matter what the Congress or Obama does, this is a no-win situation. it is absurd to expect the Congress that hasn’t produced a budget for three years will produce an agreement in less than 5 weeks.

This is what happens when a political Party's leadership is made up of pragmatic fools whose only concern is the eradication of fiscal sanity within said Party (I.E. GOP representative who have the audacity to push for balanced budgets).
