You know, I think it says something about how the democrats view things now when they’re boldly saying dear leader should become a dictator.

I guess we should just dissolve congress and give him the full total power they want him to have. They can all retire on their free government pensions they gave themselves.

Congress's ultimate power is the power of the purse, meant to check and balance power grabs by the executive branch. Why would it give it up? And why in the world would this screeching traitorous b!tch, presumably a member of congress in good standing, who should be concerned about preserving congressional control over spending, propose it? Obviously, she doesn't have a clue about what her constitutional duties are, or doesn't care, or both.

Sure. It worked for Weimar Germany. It worked for Argentina. What’s the worst that can happen?/s

Nancy you ignorant slut!
If you turn the power of the purse to Obama, you will lose your job because Obama will no longer need the House of Representatives?

It’s Sickening what these Commies have convinced themselves and some Americans is “Fair”. To give Barry the power to raise the debt limit whenever he likes would be like giving a group of alcoholics the keys to a liquor store and saying “Have at it”!

Further proof that the Democrats only care about their political power and not the country.

Are you kidding? More stimulus spending? Isn’t this like the bank increasing the credit limit on some guy’s credit card after he files bankruptcy, or am I missing something?
To: jazusamo
How in the Hell does spending MORE money prevent the country’s economy from going off the cliff? This makes no sense. If my personal finances were taking a nose dive, my spending would be limited to bare necessities (no vacation, no impulse spending, no extravagant dinners, etc.). I don’t get it - maybe I’m stupid, but someone please explain how this proposal makes sense.

Hey, Peloser.
Would you give that power to a President Palin?
No?
Didn’t think so.
So don’t suggest that the country give that power to your boy king.
To: jazusamo
Why doesn’t Dear Leader merely raise the debt limit as an Executive Order, and dare anyone in Congress to speak up? After his Amnesty edict, he must know he can show complete contempt for the law in every regard.
