City attorney of San Bernardino Jim Penman had the audacity to tell the truth to the residents of bankrupt San Bernardino at a recent city council meeting. Taking stock of the fact that San Bernardinos murder rate has jumped 50 percent over the last year, that the city has been cutting its police force by about 80 officers, and that there is no good news in sight, Penman stated, lock your doors and load your guns. He stands by the statement today, explaining, you should say what you mean and mean what you say.
Penman continued, Lets be honest, we dont have enough police officers. We have too many criminals living in this city. We have had 45 murders this year
thats far too high for a city of this size
. Im not advocating that people go out, who dont have any training, and buy firearms. I certainly strongly caution anyone who has children at home not to have a loaded gun in the house.

Why dont they just deputize ordinary citizens, Im sure there would be plenty of volunteers.....They would rather have the crisis. It will be a great excuse for declaring martial law and raising taxes on whatever can legally still move.

Actually, I concur with your sentiment. We are not free people and Liberals have worked hard to enslave us.

If your government can’t protect you, then why pay any taxes at all?

I’m so glad that CA and San Bernadino are acting as the prospective trial for the impending national financial collapse.

I'm no math whiz but it seems that NYC came out first in this contest....by a wide margin. San Bernardino: 235 murders per million per year (prorated):
45 * (1/0.209) * (12/11)
NYC: 48.25 murders per million per year (prorated):
193 * (1/8) * (12/6)
NYC appears to be much safer.

Life in the USA is just one crisis away from barbarism. Were on our own here, guys! We cant count on the gov to guarantee a safe civilization. In fact, they do their best to make us revert to barbarism.
I keep thinking that we are headed towards a world somewhere in between "A Clockwork Orange" (I'm a Stanley Kubrick junky) and "Back to the Future II" where Marty went back to an alternate 1985 where Hill Valley was a slum under Biff Tannen's watch and Principal Strickland was packing a 12 gauge.

Citizen constables. Wonder if they can inquire immigration status? Oh silly me, they are busy working on an amnesty in DC. Guess there will not be illegals here much longer...
I always like the idea of a volunteer police force. Buy a 1965 Ford Galaxie and a .38 revolver, put in a CB or VHF/UHF radio and off you go.

Do children not deserve protection too?

Whats wrong with teaching your children the right and wrongs of using and owning a gun? What a moron! My dad taught me common sense safety rules when I was so young that I can't remember how old I was, I'd go hunting with him from about 6 years of age and he'd drill those rules in, I was actually carrying a rifle or shot gun on those trips by the time I was 9 or 10.
Nowadays are different for many kids. First problem, What's a dad? In those cases mom can step up and be responsible.
