Another extract from RSOE EDIS on website ‘hisz.rsoe.hu’ [NOTICE!!! This information not confirmed!] Iranian nuclear officials are being secretive about the nature of an incident in the Iranian Isfahan nuclear plant that sent many staff members to nearby hospital emergency rooms Wednesday. The head of Iran’s Medical Emergency Agency told reporters that staff members of an Isfahan Nuclear plant “have observed some symptoms.” He stressed that all medical emergency units in Iran should be ready to “confront nuclear incidents.” “Those who have been around UCF Isfahan, have shown symptoms and are receiving treatment,” said Gholamreza Masoumi to Iranian state-run news agencies. He did not mention a specific time for the incident nor did he volunteer any details about the nature of it. “We have not yet had any incident outside nuclear designated areas,” he said. Masoumi said that the agency has been training the medical emergency unit staff on providing treatment for nuclear incidents. Masoumi told Mehr news agency that recently the Iranian government has formed a “Nuclear Emergency” task force to provide services that would be needed following nuclear incidents. Furthermore, Nuclear Emergency centers in provinces where nuclear sites are located will receive a boost. Masoumi stressed that there has never been an incident of nuclear leakage at any Iranian nuclear plant. Radio Free Europe reported that following the publication of this incident, Mehr news removed the article from its website, however, on June 28, the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Freidoon Abbasi, tried to play down the incident. “Any kind of incident may occur in any plant,” said Abbasi to Iranian Fars News. “However it does not mean that such events lead to spread of radioactive material.”

Then there will be a probable loss of major infrastructure when Israel has the jets and pilots warmed up.

I'd like nothing more than that, but all we've heard for years now it's all too deep underground to hit.

So was this incident last Wednesday, or last June?

Incomplete thermonuclear reaction is a “fizzle.”

Hence the expression ‘if Muhammed won’t go to the mountain, the mountain will have to go to Muhammed.’

Thanks Obama, and thanks Bush and Clinton, none of which did much to stop this.

Iranian residents close to the ‘incident’ complained about the overwhelming odor of sulfur.

The Iranians could have had a small accidental ‘dirty bomb’ or perhaps the accident had a little help from the Mossad. Even a relatively minor poof no bigger than a hand grenade in or near a nuclear storage container (or from within it) would spray radioactive material all over the processing facility. And could render it pretty much useless for years ... We hope!

And - maybe this incident was part of the reason for the announcement by the Iranians in the run up to the elections that they would suspend nuclear fuel processing.... Maybe they had to ?

There are many ways to accidentally achieve a critical mass while processing waste material from nuclear enrichment. The results can be spectacularly dangerous.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of folks, either.

Nothing.

I have had FoxNews on for over an hour and they haven’t even mentioned Iran.

They did have Geraldo on earlier giving support to Susan Rice, of course.

More likely, someone dropped a bottle. They are describing radiation poisoning not an explosion.

Close to the Mayan date! Maybe a real blast to follow—or maybe Iran had an accident of some sort. Nuke’s can be really tricky—one mistake and lots of folks die. Maybe Israel just helped things along a wee bit.
