WH: Obama 'Is Not Particularly Concerned' Whether Susan Rice Misled the American People

In response to a question from reporter Major Garrett on whether the Obama administration's mishandling of Benghazi raises "core questions of basic competency," press secretary Jay Carney revealed that Barack Obama "is not particularly concerned" about whether Susan Rice misled the American people:

"What the president is worried about, Major, is what happened and why in Benghazi. He is not particularly concerned about whether the ambassador or I went out and talked about the fact that we believed extremists might have been responsible. And whether we named them as al Qaeda or not does not--no, it certainly doesn't have any bearing on what happened and who was responsible as that investigation was continuing on Benghazi."

What a surprise, huh? Obama chooses someone to lie to the American people who cannot be criticized because they hold special 'protected class cards' and that person was Susan Rice. As part of a broader cover-up to downplay the seriousness of what happened in Benghazi before, during and after the attack, Rice agreed to lie in exchange for a promotion. This makes Watergate look trivial and Congress needs to double-down on getting all the players to testify IMMEDIATELY. Where are you TODAY, Hillary? Still running away from D.C.?

The Republicans in Congress need to be bold and call the Democrats on their 'race diversion' from the cover-up perpetrated on the American people leading up to the election. Perhaps if America knew the FACTS of Benghazi, 0bama might not have been re-elected. Impeachments of all players are in order here. Americans were put at risk by Team 0bama minimizing the terrorist threat. The Democrats accuse the Republicans of 'politicizing Benghazi'.. REALLY? THEY are the ones who politicized Benghazi to save 0bama's re-election campaign!

I think her immediate motive was to get herself a promotion. 0bama’s motive was to enable Al Qaeda to do what the terrorist group MB has done to Egypt. It’s all about sabotaging our foreign policy on behalf of the Islamic-dominated U.N. Hillary definitely holds some keys here.. No way she should be allowed to escape testimony. Congress needs to DEMAND she get back to D.C. ASAP or be held in Contempt of Congress. This fluffy soft nicety CRAP has got to stop.

The analysis of this is not hard. Obama was campaigning not only on killing Bin Laden, but also on the wisdom of his Arab Spring policy AND Obama and all his surrogates kept mocking Romney with the challenge “does he want to start a war?”

Then Benghazi happened, on 9-11, and all of the above explains why Obama did not respond militarily (Romney could have immediately said “YOUR policy led to a war”), and began a worldwide campaign to blame the ridiculous video.

The whole thing happened in plain sight and was absolutely despicable. And the lovely Hilary was up to her eyeballs in it with that absurd commercial on Pakistani TV.

Where was obama during these attacks, did he watch it in the situation room and did he go to sleep that night whilst the attacks were on going and why did he lie about not being told and aboiut a video?

If people would bother to read beyond the headline, which they never do, they would see that this is much worse. Obama has now decided to go with a hey, what the heck, we’re all feckless and confused, and how could we be expected to know anything...

In other words, he is admitting that this can’t be pinned on Rice alone, but he’s trying to use incompetence as a defense. He knows that the American people don’t expect him to be competent in any sphere, and this will just add to what appears to them and the press to be his endearing image as a sincere little black boy, lost among all those big evil old men.

He knew perfectly we’ll what was going on, who he was encouraging and what the final outcome would be...but I think he’s afraid that even the American public might wake up and object to that if they knew about it.

So his latest defense is going to be, “aw, shucks, how could anybody expect little me to understand such things?”

I’d like to just ponder that for a bit. You would really have to be motivated to make it to all 5 of them and not miss one. I’d like to know more about Susan Rice did it.
Did she have a driver waiting at one place to take her to the nexr? Did she run? did she ride a scooter from one talk show to the next?

The reason no one seems to know who gave her the talking points is because the big elephant in the room is that it was BO or Valerie Jarrett and no one will spill. If it was some underling, they would already be under the bus. No one will rat out the obvious answer. Time to put BO and Jarrett under oath, but make sure you have info that can prove they are lying under oath, which they surely will, then they can be impeached for lying under oath. Where was BO during the 7 hour attack?

Agreed, Jarett and Clinton have all been AWOL and to think all this time has passed and not one person today still knows where the President was when this attack started.

Hell we still do not even know who gave the stand down order and why, no one has been fired, .

Just think of it this way.

In all this time not one reporter has asked where obama, it;s the basic of questions and no one can tell me that not one person has thought to ask this.

OK. The WH is concerned about what happened in Benghazi? So who gave the order to withhold rescue forces from Stevens and his defenders? Any concern about answering that question?

And by the way, why did you lie to the American people? Based on an intelligence estimate that didn’t ever exist, at that time or any other? An awful lot of people are very concerned about that question, whether the WH is or not.
