In most circumstances, I believe it’s right to support people doing the right thing. When it comes to McCain, you have to be very careful.

Up until yesterday he was blasting Rice. Today he and Graham had morphed that to blaming Obama. What does this signify?

In real terms, it means that McCain is going to be content to trash Obama, and quite likely support Rice’s nomination after all.

This guy has short-circuited more Conservative attempts to do the right thing, than anyone I’m aware of.

If McCain backtracks I'll be the first to condemn him.

But to date he and Graham (and Ayotte) have led the charge and deserve some praise for doing that, not condemnation.

Well, anybody who’s “content to trash Obama” certainly has my support.

Rice was a tool and Obama is where this all leads to, so hopefully McCain and Graham will have the guts to keep on following it up. I think Rice was a feint by McCain, actually, to draw Obama into a more vulnerable position.

I dislike McCain intensely because of the way he completely threw away all chances to beat Obama in 2008. He was an old man intimidated by running against the “first tan president who was not Bill Clinton.” But something about Benghazi really seems to have made him mad, so maybe he really will get revenge by keeping after this. I hope...
