(CNN) - Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum hinted Monday he may see another presidential run in his future.
"I'm open to that possibility," the Republican said when asked on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" about a 2016 White House bid.

"But we're a long way..." he added, pausing, then continuing, "I'm focused right now on trying to stay involved in the fray and make sure that we do the right thing up on Capitol Hill right now."
Santorum proved a tough opponent to Mitt Romney during the Republican presidential primary, ultimately forcing the contest to run as late as April when Santorum dropped his bid and paved the way for Romney to clinch the nomination.

RINO File.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, but the establishment has already chosen Jebbie; it was done no later than Nov. 6, 2012.
No more Bushes.
Rick, I’m not open to your bid in 2016.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Sam Brownback ran again. Don’t remember him? He ran in 2008...miserably. Well he’s governor of Kansas now, and he has quietly (and successfully) restricted the power of public employee unions, reduced taxes, and made it clear that we are ‘open for business’. He is currently entering phase 2 of his tax cut plan - a reduction in the size of government. He really lacks in the personality department, and will be painted as a religious nut....he’s exactly like Santorum, except he has some executive accomplishments under his belt.
We might add Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and maybe Scott Walker? I’d love for Sarah to run, but not sure she wants the headaches any more.
No. Just...NO.
It’s just ego on his part. Why does he think he has something to offer to the nation?
The definition of insanity.
She doesn’t look like post 20 anymore . She’s had face work, it’s over ...
Definitely - turning out people to vote against her.
Out here in the real word living in a swing state, and actually talking to independents, and a lot of people that mostly vote Republican - people literally burst out laughing at the idea of her running for President. There is such general contempt for her that is infinitely beyond that felt for Romney that it is inconceivable it could ever be overcome.
She'd probably be running against Hilary and would do worse with women than Romney.
Disagree (strongly) with your view.
I just ignore the haters :p
