Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
Been there, done that, and earned the title December 20, 1974.
That sounds like a really long time ago. Probably because it is.
Oorah!
A rallying cry often heard today in our economically challenged world is Less and less. Governments are called to balance their budgets. People are urged to use less energy and decrease consumption of limited resources. It is good advice that we should all heed. In the realm of faith, however, there are no shortages of love and grace and strength. Therefore, as followers of Christ, we are urged to demonstrate His love in our lives in ever-increasing measure.
In the apostle Pauls first letter to the believers in Thessalonica, he urged them to abound more and more in a lifestyle that pleases God (4:1). He also commended them for their demonstration of love for each other, and called them to increase more and more in brotherly love (v.10).
That kind of ever-increasing love is possible only because it comes from Gods limitless resources, not from our own dwindling supply. Poet Annie Johnson Flint wrote:
His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
His power has no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.
How much should we love God and others? More and more!

Ahhhh....MCRD, Home Sweet Home! I spent 1 1/2 years sleeping in MCRDs huts and tents.
My fondest memories are of the base “Musics” marching to the Flagpole each morning playing “Waltzing Matilda” then playing the Star Spangled Banner while raising the National Colors, “COLORS!” and playing the Marine Corps Hymn while marching back to their baracks area.
Secondly is the look on the faces of Navy Recruits, who had vaulted the 3’ tall fence between the Naval Training Center and MCRD only to discover that in fleeing those mean ole Petty Officers, they had landed in the laps of the Drill Instructors of the Receiving Baracks of MCRD.
While they were reported as in “custody” to the Navy they were treated to a full 2 weeks as a raw recruit Marine before returning home to NTC........lolololol
Are you ready for the Tuesday

Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
military, our allies, and their families
Thank you, Lauren, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
It's surprising to me to see some of the guyz/galz that choose to go into the military,
much less something like the Marines.
I'm ready for the road trip.
