This Upper West Sider is going to war for her peace symbol.
Brigitte Vosse, 58, has been irking neighbors for more than a year with her own personal protest against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan: a neon peace sign hanging in her living-room window at the Ansonia, a beloved, Beaux-Art style Broadway building once home to Babe Ruth.

No mention about Obammy killing families in Pakistan, Libya......
That white dot, up top in the front turret. From +/- 125-130ft below, it’s hard to discern WTH it is.
That shouldn’t even COUNT as a sign, even if she herself calls it one. If she lets a smart attorney handle the case she probably ought to win.
Sucks to have the courts used as a weapon against your freedoms, doesn’t it.
Oh fer cryin’ out loud.
It’s not even “neon”. If you look at the smaller picture of it below the building picture it appears to be strings of Christmas lights.
Meanwhile, if we support the right of people to display crosses or US flags, then we need to also support her right to display her peace symbol.
All I can say is, there was a time when,,,,,,,,,,,,
Personally, I like it when these people put up there stupid signs. That way I know where the idiots live.
Agreed, but the HOA just isn’t going to let this die. They’re control-freak nazis, and won’t give-up their “right to it”.
Yeah, who came up with “neon” for this thing that looks like it’s made with Christmas light bulbs. A decent neon peace sign wouldn’t look like that at all.
It’s not even an HOA covenant they’re getting buzzed up about here. It’s a city ordinance about “political signs.”
I’d say the first thing about something counting as a sign, is that it can be read by passers-by. It’s her own private symbol to what? God, the angels, and the birds? Good grief. I hope the judge says it can’t even be made out as to what it is, and so it’s indistinguishable from any other light.
