A liberal judge, appointed by RINO George W. Bush, says Hobby Lobby must provide abortion-inducing pills to it's employees as part of their healthcare coverage. Must be John Roberts' cousin. No doubt this Constitution-hating ass will be vetted for Kenyan's supreme court.

The government that begins to force religious people to violate their beliefs rapidly loses respect for its own legitimacy.

Judges, in particular, should be very concerned with that happening ~

Well, let’s just see if their convictions and commitment to their Faith is strong enough to ...just close up shop...

Am I hearing this ruling correctly? Hearing 1.3 million dollar fine per week if Hobby Lobby does not comply. Let the job destruction begin with zer0care. Two more liberals on the SC and bye bye to more than simply the Constitution. liberals having wet dreams while their dreams too will burn. Un-freakin-believeable. Insanity does not begin to describe liberals. Oh well, more preparation is the order, of these days, for God's People. Will increase my list, and pray more than ever. Looks to be too late for anything else.

cancel all medical insurance.

let the govt supply it...which is what the zer0bama dirt bags want anyway...and pay the tax the company has to pay if they don’t supply it.

it is lose, lose but at least the company is not supplying the offending abortion pill.

George W. Bush, just another in the long line of Northeast bred or born or educated aristocrats that have taken over the governance of this country.
And just look at what a bang up job they have done over the past 25 years. More if you add in the Congress as “Leaders”.

This is one of the reasons people left France and came to America...FREEDOM OF RELIGION!

Where will we go now?

I may be missing something, but legally these cases aren’t even close.

Freedom of religion is not a defense to violating the law. There have been several cases in the Supreme Court that have held that. Otherwise Rastafarians would be allowed to smoke pot, Scientologists wouldn’t have to pay taxes, and Mormons could practice polygamy.

The only case to hold contrary, that I can recall, was the Amish case, and I think most people agree that basically it was bad facts making bad law.

Let’s see: The constitution says that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion. That means, say the judges, that the federal government has the right to say that only churches have the right to practice religion.

"Plaintiffs have not cited, and the court has not found, any case concluding that secular, for-profit corporations such as Hobby Lobby and Mardel have a constitutional right to the free exercise of religion," the ruling said.

Hint. It's in the constitution.

This decision is consistent with the progressive party line: The Constitution guarantees “freedom of worship.” I.e., you are allowed to go to church. Outside of church, you must obey the State.

When campaign finance reform was overturned by the supreme court they essentially gave freedom of speech rights to corporations. Why not free exercise of religion too? Both are in the 1st amendment.

The USSC already ruled in Citizens United that corporations are people.

This ain't over by a long shot.

If a corporation is considered a person for taxes, political contributions an political speach, why not exercise of religion. I think this might be overturned up the line.

Easily easily overturned.

It’s already been decided corporations have freedom of speech as per the recent decisions on campaign finance.

This judge is an idiot.

Insurance is a perfect example of things Government should run. Insurance is basicaly corporate socialism. Except instead of taxes, we pay premiums.

The benefits of a well run Government insurance provider would be tremendous. Unfortuneatly something like this only works when setup at the beginning (or very near). Now there is too much constituencies and leverage money to where it can’t be done correctly.

If there’s no right to the free exercise of religion, islam can be banned.

Why dont these girls just buy their own pills out of their check? They want to screw so badly, then take of the stuff yourself!

And to think back in the 90s feminist losers used to lambaste guys for not going out and buying condoms only 20 years later to act the same way.
