As I wrote this morning to the NewsBusters editor who alerted me to the Washington Post's editorial, "The GOPs bizarre attack on Susan Rice," I don't read WaPo much, but somehow assume they're not quite as extreme as the New York Times. Silly me, judging by WaPo's ugly, over-the-top opinion item.
Here's the ugly last paragraph from today's editorial: "Could it be, as members of the Congressional Black Caucus are charging, that the signatories of the letter are targeting Ms. Rice because she is an African American woman? The signatories deny that, and we cant know their hearts. What we do know is that more than 80 of the signatories are white males, and nearly half are from states of the former Confederacy."
More after the jump.

Let mw know when they show a shred of the same outrage over the treatment of former Secretary Condoleeza Rice. Or candidate Sarah Palin. Or Congresswoman Michelle Bachman. Until then, I don’t give a flyin fig.
Washington Post Suspects Racism In... Everything.
Susan Rice helped persuade President Clinton to turn down Sudan’s offer to turn Osama bin Laden in 1996. That’s not bad judgement, that’s weapons grade stupid. Susan Rice is in part responsible for the deaths of 3,000 Americans.
I’ll bet she’s of the Jeremiah Wright school of “theology” and sleeps like a baby at night too. I can’t wait for the day when there’s no one left for the sharp end of the armed forces except minorities and homos.
As to the other, all I can say is, yeah, I’m racist. At this point, I’ve damned well earned the right to be so.
Susan Rice is a government official. How she does her job is a matter of record. She should be judged on the basis of what she has done. The color of her skin is immaterial and trying to enter it into the discussion is racism. And it really hurts any minority. The implication of the Washington Post’s charge is that minorities are inferior. They cannot complete and so must be judged by skin color only. That is truly disgusting.
And the Rats opposition to Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas was what again?
The color of her skin is immaterial and trying to enter it into the discussion is racism.

Could it be that no Black Government employee will ever be replaced due to Racism?
No one said replace her with a white person!
When an Ambassador lies to the American people and as well as her superiors have done, we are racist for calling foul?
Will there become a time when no one can be removed let alone castigated for wrong doing because they are of a certain race?
If true, the law abiding Citizen is in a heap of trouble!
So if you are a Black woman, you can be a liar and a fool, but no one can criticize you? Sweet.
The Left can go fu** themselves and shove the word racist up their rumps. I refuse to accept their hypocritical agit prop hateful rhetoric and smears.
WAPO says Rice qualified regardless since she is a black female? Talk about prejudice.
The left, OF BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES, will use “the race card” on all of the issues, if it will give the left what it wants!
When is Valerie Jarrett going to be called before an investigating committee?
I’ve posted this before, but this was my response to an article in the WSJ, entitled, “White on Rice.”
Opinion: White on Rice (2 days ago)
Comment: The claims of racism in regard to Rice’s statements are tied up with post modernist relativism. According to post modernist thinking everything is relative, including the truth. To a post modernist progressive, a Black person’s truth is not the same as Western White Capitalist’s truth. Everything depends on what the definition of “is” is.
We should recall that these post modernist progressives have repeatedly declared that one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter, or in this case, another man’s protester. We can also assume that when Obama and his minions blamed the anti-US actions in the Middle East on a You Tube video, that the video was only a metaphor for all the injustices that have been inflicted upon the Islamic world by the Western White Capitalists.
So, you see, in the minds of the post modernist Obama administration, a lie is not a lie, unless it is told by a Western White Capitalist or Republican. A false narrative, told by a Black member of the post modernist Obama administration, is not false, but simply an alternative narrative, told from the Black perspective as part of the greater revised meta-narrative. Blacks are always in the right, while on the left politically.
So, anyone who denies the revisionist narrative regarding the Benghazi attack, is committing a social injustice and is thus a racist, in the eyes of the progressives.
We know from the CBS article that exposed the changes in the CIA talking points as originating in the office of James Clapper, Petraeus’ boss. We also know from that same article that Ms. Rice would have had access to the original CIA talking points, which were made classified by Clapper. So, Rice lied. She made up the connection to the protest about the video. My analysis as stated above stands.
Social justice and post modernist thought is a heads I win, tails you lose con game, perpetrated by the left. Nearly every college and university now requires a course in social justice to earn a degree in both graduate and undergraduate schools, no matter the major.
The damage that is being done to young people who fall for this claptrap both in the public schools and college and university systems may not ever be undone. We recently learned that Jared Loughner, who shot Gabby Giffords was a graduate of one of the Bill Ayers’ Small Schools, in Tucson, which is probably where his mental illness became focused on political issues. We also
have learned that the shooter in Colorado movie theater was enrolled in some nutty neuro-science program, which analyzed the use of buzz words and phrases for mass political persuasion.
The damage that the left is doing to the minds and hearts of young people is always damaging but when that damage is exacerbated by mental illness, there is no telling where it will end up.
If that’s the case, we can agree that democrat opposition to Mia Love and to Alan West was also a blatantly racist position to advance.
