It’s over, finally. Pats 49 Jets 19.
The Night of the Butt Fumble.
Try having 1 playoff win in 55 years, an 0-16 season, and finding every conceivable way to lose a football game(including a 63 yard field goal by a kicker with half-a-foot)...then we'll talk.
Signed
Lions fan
I asked my Dad today, what to do if you want both teams to lose? NE, the home of taxachusetts and NY, well, obvious.
What is the worst thing about the Jets?
A. Quarterback Sanchez
B. Rex Ryan
C. The Defense
D. I have another choice (okay, what is it?)
You got me there. One of my best friends is a Lions fan. I’ve watched him suffer for years. His only consolation seems to be the fact that I’m a Pittsburgh Pirates fan. :)
I turned it on at 7-0 and congratulated myself for tuning into a decent game and then only 52 seconds later it was 28-0. Jets fans will show up next week with bags over their heads like the unknown comic.
I don't know if you are old enough to remember the "Wild World of Sports", but some put jerk went off the side of a ski jump and from then on the show used his fall as part of their network intro. They would say "The thrill of victory" and show some guy doing something great and then would come " And The agony of defeat" and show the poor slob sliding off of the ski jump and wiping out half of the press corp. They showed that poor guy until the show finally went off the air. I would imagine they will do the same with this butt fumble.
To point out how effective this was many of us old guys still remember that wipe out on the ski jump:)
The Lions are just trying to emulate how their city has been run into the ground by democRAT leadership for the last 50 years.
That’s easy— if the Jets had an adequate back-up quarterback, they wouldn’t have to keep sending Sanchez out there.
It sure ain't the cheerleaders! :)

First Sanchez takes the snap, turns & runs right by the RB he was supposed to hand the ball off - doh! Then he turns around after no doubt thinking "holy crap! - now what do I do?" and decides he has to run the ball himself on what was obviously a busted play - doh! Then in highly comical fashion immediately runs right into the back/butt of his own player, drops the ball, and falls down - doh! A Pat picks up the ball & runs for a score.
The whole play was like watching an old timey Keystone Cops movie. I was LMAO!
A Jets defeat is a good ending to Thanksgiving!
It is Tim Tebows fault. And maybe Busch too!
It was hilarious! Made me glad to be a Steelers fan.
Tebow was nursing a rib injury.
And having an idiot head coach who throws a challenge flag even though all scoring plays are automatically reviewed.
And he has played with worse.
