Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal declared a position on Palestinian statehood that is nearly identical to that of his Fatah rival, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, in an interview with CNN aired Wednesday.
"I accept a Palestinian state according [to] the 1967 borders, with Jerusalem as the capital, with the right to return," the Hamas leader told Christine Amanpour in Cairo.
Pushed about his party's refusal to recognize Israel, Mashaal said such a declaration could only be made once a Palestinian state has been created.
"After this state is established, it decides its standing toward Israel," the Hamas leader said.

The Israelis cannot accept ‘67 borders due to security risks, especially with their enemies acquiring more sophisticated weapons as time marches on. If Israel, should the muslims have their way,be destroyed, I hope she takes everyone around her down the drain with her, using nuclear weapons to boot. And be sure to lob a few nukes into Saudi Arabia (Mecca and Medina and a few other choice cities) to finish off these barbaric pigs for centuries. I hope it doesn’t come to that, however given current U.S. leadership, it may. God Bless Israel and her people.
No deal. Now, go screw yourself, Mashaal.
“”After this state is established, it decides its standing toward Israel,” the Hamas leader said.”
And somewhere in Israel a drone is being warmed up for its next take down mission.
Israel should have nevergiven back any of the territory it won in the 1967 war...
I ambetting a lot of the older generation in israel is regretting being too nice to the barbarians at the gate.

Ain’t gonna happen.

Suggestion to Israel. Cut Gaza loose. Recognize Gaza as a country. Turn off the electric, water, all workers are to return to Gaza. Wall up the place and remove any asset you have there.
Let Egypt and the world community deal with them.
Christine Amanpour again. Why is our news so filled with foreigners? She’s basically a Brit born to Iranians, sent to Tehran for school.
It’s way stale to me, that i can only get world news interpreted through the eyes of foreigners who despise everything America was.

Hamas or Obama? I can’t tell whose plan this is.
Israel is too smart to exchange a strategic advantage for the promise of peace-unfortunately, the Palestinians have nothing to offer but their word, which is worthless.
Israel, please put this pig out of communication range.
Israel owns everything else, including all of the West Bank. This is the true two state solution. Trans-Jordan was created by the British out of two thirds of the Palestinian Mandate as a Arab state. The West Bank was occupied illegally by the Trans-Jordanian army in 1948, and tried to wipe out all signs of Jewish presence in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Yes the West Bank was occupied between 1948 and 1967 by Arab forces, but was reunited with greater Israel, after Jordan attack Israel in 1967.
There I fixed the statement.
khaled mishaal, you have been judged and found wanting. Your days are numbered and your demise is at hand. I promise you.
I want Israel to demand the 1920 borders of the mandate put forth by the occupying British.
