Shamed Facebook poster loses her job

Lindsey Stone — the Plymouth woman taking an online beating for posting a photo of herself flipping the bird at Arlington National Cemetery on Facebook — has lost her job.

“Lindsey resigned and we accepted her resignation,” LIFE Inc. CEO Diane Enochs told the Herald tonight.

LIFE Inc. of Hyannis — a Cape Cod nonprofit that helps adults with special needs — announced tonight that Stone, along with the woman who snapped the offending photo, are not working there.

Ironically, the formal announcement was made on Facebook.

I was in the Georgetown section of DC and wanted to visit Arlington. It was a sunny but very cold February day. I walked the route, not sure of the distance 3-4 miles perhaps. And this fool disrespects. It is pitiful

I was there for the changing of the guard as a “I know everything, give me a break” teenager while heading to the Boy Scout Jamboree at Ft. A.P. Hill. I’ve never been so moved by a cemetery ceremony outside of my immediate family, until I went to Normandy (where I wept like a newborn).

I can’t even imagine doing what this waste of space did. She deserves every piece of poo that is flung at her and more.

Good riddance. I’ve been to the Tomb of the Unknowns three times; each time brought tears to my eyes. The last time I took my boys when they were eight and four; it made a big impression. I am astounded that these vermin could act this way. They are some really disturbed people.

I can’t believe this type of firing for f’d up FB behavior does not happen more often, given the kind of comments from Leftists you read at news sites that only allow FB-identity participation. Usually with their name, school and job displayed right next to their mug shot. Never understood why Breitbart or Malkin don’t tee some of those up...
