White House still dodging talking point responsibility
President Obama took responsibility last week for his administration’s actions in Benghazi, Libya. He insisted those criticizing U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice for misleading the American people regarding the terror attack ought to come after him instead. This week, administration leakers are passing the buck.
Unnamed sources within the administration say that someone in the Office of Director of National IntelligenceJames R. Clapper removed references to “al Qaeda” and “terrorism” from Mrs. Rice’s talking points, with CIA and FBI concurrence. According to this version of events, Mr. Obama, his national security staff and the State Department had nothing to do with it. The reason, they say, is the evidence of terrorism was considered too tenuous to be released. CBS News correspondent Margaret Brennan reported “there was not strong confidence in the person providing the intelligence” about links to al Qaeda.
Numerous unclassified reports in hours and days after the assault gave a clear picture of exactly what happened, and the links to terrorism were obvious. The attack was a planned, violently executed and anything but spontaneous. The U.S. government had all the tools at its disposal to verify this in short order, including real-time communications intercepts, on-the-scene drone surveillance video, interviews with members of Libyan intelligence agencies and analysis of terror group activity before, during and after the attack. To say the entire U.S. intelligence community was only able to base its assessment of a critical incident on a single, less-than-reliable human source is laughable. Even if the specific al Qaeda connection was tenuous, it’s nearly impossible to conclude it wasn’t a terrorist plot.

Obama thinks himself the Massiah and therefore he can not do anything wrong, nor take responsibility for anything.
He’s Peeerrrffeecct! I will be so glad when he is gone.
If he was watching the attack video real time, and he talked to anyone in the CIA or even the Situatio Room, he knew what happened. He can try to parse the words so it sounds as if Rice got bad info, but that sort of responsibility shifting doesn't work for him and Hillary.
And Stanford pounds him for it and spoils his championship hopes.
Why did Obama overthrow the government of Libya?

This Indonesia trip was not on his schedule last month. It’s a way of staying away from the media ... not that they’d ask anything more substantive than what his favorite ice cream might be.
You're absolutely right. It was puzzling to me when it was announced, a foreign trip of this nature is usually announced many weeks if not months in advance.
It was to shed the media and the questions from just a few of them that could be embarrassing.
But, of course, nary a peep from any of them!

In the second debate Obama reminded everyone he had called it an “act of terror” on the second day. Petraeus called it “terror.” Yet Obama’s teleprompter kept saying “It’s the video,” and Rice along with Hillary kept saying “It’s the video.” Someones lying!!
Three questions for Benghazi-Coward Obama:
1.) Are you HIDING INFORMATION from the US Congress about the Benghazi Massacre?
2.) Have you been LYING to the US Congress, The Media, or the American Public about the Benghazi Massacre?
3.) Were you, as Commander in Chief, GROSSLY NEGLIGENT about your responsibilities to protect and assist those four Americans who subsequently were murdered in the Benghazi Massacre?
It was clearly president Valerie Jarrett who removed it, but everyone is scared stiff of the little witch and won’t say so, but she doesn’t have the guts to come out and say so herself...
this had very little to do with removing something and everything to do with Adding the video BS
