While I agree overall, I think we do have some real vote fraud problems and voter integrity issues to deal with. We see these situations in several big cities where the party observers are forced out for a few hours. We see precincts with murals and posters with the Democratic candidate on the wall, and workers wearing Obama hats. With early voting and absentee and less than desirable voter ID laws, it is more than certain that individuals are voting multiple times. All of these things together do have an impact.
In looking at 2012, however, I don’t feel these things are the primary reason the results came out the way they did. We have a woefully ill-informed public, an opposition with better campaign management, and a party apparatus on our side that is not only behind the times with modern campaign strategies, but very poor at message management and media coordination. This also puts aside the wall of opposition we have to overcome in popular media...news, entertainment and online media. It is a real mess, and vote integrity was a distant problem from these.
So basically, you have a hunch. That's it. No evidence, just a hunch. Coincidentally, the same hunch Democrats get when they lose elections and blame their defeats on voter fraud.
We did not get our butts kicked this past election day because of voter fraud. Are there some instances of it each election cycle? Sure. Do we want to investigate and keep the process clean? Absolutely. Did we get our clocks cleaned because of voter fraud? Not.Even.Close. We lost because more and more Americans are dependent and are voting for the party that offers them more free stuff. We are going to have to face that demographics are getting away from us and soon we may not even be able to win places like Texas. Every minute spent blaming voter fraud is a wasted minute that could be used facing up to the real problems we face and coming up with a strategy to at least try to turn things around.
Doubtful.
Every moment good people cling to that fantasy is an additional day we are not honing our message and election strategy going forward.
I'm not sure anymore whether people actually want to move forward. It's so much more fun to pour endless effort into the conspiracy theories.
I don’t think there’s much question that there was massive fraud. Otherwise the Dem authorities wouldn’t have dragged their feet like they did, or played all those other games.
I think he withdrew for the reasons he gives. His lawyers concluded that there was no chance to win. He might have his own observors, but the election officials, supervisors, and judges in the courts are probably all corrupt, so the effort would be wasted.
As we have seen over the years, who is more corrupt than a Florida Judge in one of those liberal districts? And that’s where it would all end up—under the gavel of a crooked judge.

Gertrude Walker is a sorry excuse for Supervisor of Elections, I wonder if she'll make an unexpected recovery from whatever her problem was now that Allen West has made this announcement?
Thanks for keeping up on this and posting your threads from the beginning.
Unlike many, this real man fought and now steps aside with honor.
I admire Congressman West and I know that we have not seen the last of him.
Allen West, thank you for your brave and honorable service to God and Country.
What was the final net gain from the partial recount?
Hope he comes back.
I don’t think anyone will keep Allen West down for long.
As for ‘ole Gerty, she’s been exposed as a fraud and a probable crook.
That means she’ll be invited to the White House and offered a Cabinet position or Ambassadorship. After being paraded around the Capitol on the shoulders of the Congressional Black Caucus, of course.
What do you mean "becoming"?
It was disallowed because it wasn’t submitted on time for certification. It showed an approximate gain of 260 votes for Murphy, but it was so tainted with anomalies and glitches it was highly suspect in terms of accuracy.
Seen on a New Hampshire bumper sticker:
“Our ancestors would be shooting by now.”
There’s a part of the whole fraud claim I am puzzled by, perhaps you can help.
Why, if the Ds can perpetuate this massive fraud, is the GOP still in control of the House?
I agree but I think it is a combination of both demographics and cheating just for insurance.

Secondly, is the State investigating the possibility of actual criminal activity in the County, where the suspicious count took place? I can understand the Congressman's decision, based upon the information his lawyers obtained. But if there were a couple of hundred fraudulent votes, or deliberately miscounted votes, the State ought to investigate fully. That is another question, altogether.
