From Joe Scarborough to John Heilemann, Katty Kay to Mark Halperin to Willie Geist, it was unanimous on today's Morning Joe. Whatever the substance, whatever the policy, Republicans would be making a massive political mistake by opposing the possible nomination of Susan Rice as Secretary of State.
Summed up Scarborough the MJ zeitgeist: "do a bunch of old white guys want to make their first big battle, post-election, a battle going up against a younger woman of color?"

They were part of the leftist, racist mob throwing brickbats and rotten fruit at her.
If I had the time, I would put a pic of the two ‘Rices’ side by side and under each list the opposition comments and derisive comments made by pundits and hacks and the MSM responses................
Exactly. Rice is just the domestic slave. Gutless creep D.C. Republicans won’t go after Obama.

You shouldn’t have to do it. The GOP surrogates should be all over social media hammering the double standard. They just don’t get it.
I thought she was just incompetent and corrupt.
They are too busy kowtowing to The Won..............
When you hear the race card being used your closer to the truth than the libs want you to be.
With friends like Joe.........
If Rice wants to represent the USA on the world stage, and to be taken seriously there, she has to be able to play with the big boyz. She can’t hide behind her race or gender.
Does anyone remember seeing Condi Rice do that? Even once?
Put on your big girl panties, Susan, or exit stage left.
Alan Colms on Kelly's America Live made the same argument as Joe did ( post title) : That Republicans criticizing Rice is racism.
The answer should be :
“ You didn't tell us that if we elected or re-elected Obama then we would not be allowed to criticize him or his team his entire term. You needed to tell us that before the election because clearly you had no such rule for GWB, McCain or Romney. We need the freedom to criticize our national leaders in a Democratic Republic. ”
The answer to Morning Joe is :
”So your criticism of Obama the past few years on your show was racist? Going after a black man?”
She owns the job and is accountable..no matter what age or race...lets use some logic.
