Two leading EU countries have urged Israel not to launch ground operations in Gaza.
Speaking ahead of a foreign ministers’ meeting in Brussels on Monday (19 November), the UK’s Wiliam Hague told Sky News on Sunday that “a ground invasion of Gaza would lose Israel a lot of the international support and sympathy that they have in this situation.”
France’s Laurent Fabius while on a visit to Tel Aviv also on Sunday told press: “War is not an option. It’s never the solution.”
The EU in a joint statement last week blamed Hamas, the militant group which controls Gaza, for starting the fighting. …

A ground invasion of Germany lost the UK a lot of sympathy too. From the Germans.
Europe, you lost your objectivity on Israel vs the Arabs on the West Bank and Gaza a long time ago.
Don’t try to urge Israel to do something based on the idea of your being neutral now.
Frankly, they don’t want to hear it. Supporters of Israel don’t want to hear it. And I among them, don’t care to hear it.
Quit supporting the wrong people, and in time we may listen to you again. Don’t be surprised if it’s a long time. We’ve waited a long time for you to come to your senses.

Is anyone telling Hamas to stop the attacks?
Israel would be well advised to listen carefully to all the advice the sage and wise heads of EU have to give them, and proceed to do the exact opposite.
After all, it was only a couple of generations back, that the countries who are now members of EU were enthusiastically endorsing a “final solution” to the European “Jewish problem”.
The Israelis are well advised to stick to their vow of “Never again”.
Using their logic, England and the Allies should not have invaded Germany. I guess hate is in the eye of the hater . . . Europeans should look at their eyes in a mirror.
Israel should avoid a ground invasion. Rather, adopt a policy that every rocket launch from Gaza results in everything within a half-mile radius from the launch site is carpet bombed into rubble.
The French...stupid socialists.
All the EU has to do is get GAZA to stop dumping juvenile rockets into Israel period.
No rockets = no response.
Also no hope for the EU in that score.

You forgot the “Coexist” sticker they never slap on a bumper in the Middle East.
Eurabia has no legitimacy here. It’s ruled by pro-Islam rats. This is practically like a statement from the Arab League.
If Israel is planning on going in, kicking a bunch of ass, then leaving the Palies alone again, then I am also against Israel invading.
