A relative who cared for her elderly mother, just deceased, is dealing with the various medical bills from the hospital and doctors.
She sees on all of the statements now, a check off to be marked by the provider, certifying something to the effect that the treatment was "consistent with and appropriate for, the age of the patient".
She says she never saw those before in all her years of caring for her mother. Is this part of Obamacare beginning to limit medical care for our elderly?

What makes you think a Democrat would care about their parents getting care or not they most likely want them to die afterall Democrats wrote the legislation.

I would suggest that most progressives won’t care if their parents get death paneled. Most will be sacking their homes and bank accounts while they are being helped along to meet their maker. It will be very ironic (and maybe even Twilight Zone) that they find out that their beloved parents took out a reverse mortgage on the house and spent every penny they had on a final flings.

Surprised? More like satisfied that they got exactly what they voted for. Sure, they'll fuss and cry about the inhumanity of it all, but it's always the same two-faced emotional BS. A good number of them will wail and moan all right while they push and shove their way toward granny's possessions and bank accounts.
I'm not a complete cynic, though. Some of these people will genuinely want their elderly relatives to live, and would even be willing to care for them. In those cases, the commies will conveniently know somebody in the Obamacare supply chain, and guess what, "It's a miracle!" Their relatives will be sure to obtain care— at the expense of yours.

I would get REALLY concerned when the elderly are sent to IMAX theaters instead of a hospital.
And I doubt I’ll buy any Powerbars afterwards.

That blurb comes from JCAHO standards that are IIRC a least a decade old. (Joint Comm. Accreditation of Hospitals)
Appears in many areas regarding patient care standards, ie Job Desc, Performance Evals....

Oh I believe it.I am already facing some of the limits Obamacare places.I spent over a week trying desperately to find where I needed to order supplies for my insulin pump from as my supply dwindled.The insurance company told me one thing then I’d contact a place and they would call back telling me my insurance wasn’t accepted.I had to basically sit on the phone asking to talk to a supervisor for hours to finally find a place to order from.I was told by them that the changes were due to changes that came in Obamacare. I am just hoping that in 3 more months I don’t have the same issues again as I have in the last 6 months.It’s very stressful thinking I may not have a delivery system for my insulin.Type 1 diabetics die without insulin.
