Mitt Romney finally has it figured out. He knows why he lost. Guess what? It was all President Barack Obama's fault.
Of course, that's not exactly the way Romney puts it. He puts it in a way that sounds even more silly than that. Or perhaps, depending on your worldview, more tragic.
In a 20-minute afternoon conference call with his major donors and fundraisers eight days after Election Day, Romney blamed his loss on Obama's showering groups with what Romney called "gifts" to various groups of voters, "especially the African-American community, the Hispanic community and young people."
Zounds! As we used to say back in the day when most people received their news on newsprint, stop the presses!

Since the liberal swine refuse to stand down after the election, why should the rest of us?? Now is the time for the liberals to gloat and oink but the time will soon arrive for Americans to regroup and counterattack.
The only way to hurt the communists in this country is to always tell the truth and hope the voters will believe you. That’s getting tougher with each passing election. The voters WANT lies, mud, dirt and smears and won’t settle for anything less. They don’t want to hear the truth spoken because it might upset or “offend” them or somebody else.
This hits the statist hardest because they know deep down that they owe their source of power to those who are non productive at the expense of those who produce. Whenever this is pointed out or exposed, it must be shut down and
made to look ridiculous.. The worst part is the so called
conservatives who ran out immediately and didcredited these true facts.
Hell, there’s still folks on FR taking swipes at Romney even though he’s no longer a threat to their “principles”. Why would you expect the lefties to behave any better?
I try to be reasonable, but I simply don’t understand the left’s perspective. It seems obvious that President Obama pandered to his constituents: homosexuals, minorities, single women, and Hispanics. He “evolved” on sodomy and forced the military to accept perversion, he mandated other people to pay for “free” birth control, aka abortions, for women, he imposed the DREAM Act by imperial decree, etc. How could any reasonable person come to the conclusion that this was anything other than gifts to his constituencies?
I don’t think a day has gone by where I haven’t been attacked by one liberal slob or another - one actually posted on Facebook, “F*** you” (w/o the *s) after it was announced 0bama was the winner; she also happens to collect for one of the local charities but I think I’m going to tell her to ask 0bama to pick up my tab this Christmas.
Somehow, this fool Page can although Clarence has always been a bit slow on the uptake.
Nothing new in communists America. It surprises me how long it will take before Americans realize they are controlled by communists Democrats.
The REAL reason why Obama won is VOTER FRAUD (ie: dead people voting, multiple votes per democrat, illegals voting and immigrants illegally voting in the US elections).
I predict that 2014 will be a continuation of the trend we’ve been seeing since after 2008 and we will win the Senate and keep control of the House*.
The GOP needs to learn how to fight.
If John Boehner remains speaker the trend we have enjoyed since after 2008 may disappear. He is as much a threat to the republicans winning and maintaining control as Obama and his voter fraud.
I, for one, do not fit in a party of pussies (my apologies, ladies - many of you have more balls than the GOP-e) and have already quit them.
Yet liberals constantly wonder aloud why any poor people vote Republican. “They’re voting against their own best interests,” is how they put it. We’re not, but their way of seeing it clearly reveals that they think the only reasonable way to vote is selfishly. You vote for whoever will give you what you want, regardless of principle, regardless of long term effect, regardless of... well... anything, really.
We WILL lose more elections in near future if the very people you have just described maintain power in the republican party.
It was Romney’s election to lose and he did. Obama’s voter fraud played a lot into it and tipped the scales. I have no doubt about it.
Since 2008 the Conservatives have been blowing the democrat party away in elections because they offered a clear difference another option, another path. We can win again, but NOT if John Boehner as Speaker. He must go or the winning trend for us is OVER.
There’s no room for 2 liberal parties. The dems are already established as the liberal wing. We’re not going to get their votes.
If you want to win again and continue the post 2008 trend, Boehner needs to go.
VOTER FRAUD is what broke this trend in 2012. Thank God for Allen West!

If socialism actually worked and didn’t destroy people’s lives or the economy, I’d be a socialist. I certainly believe in charity. But government wealth redistribution is not charity. It’s theft. I guess it just depends on what a person believes. If someone offered me something I didn’t earn that was taken from someone else, I’d refuse it. However, you can’t deny that many people enjoy plundering their neighbors. The plunderers are also very diverse. They include everything from business owners trying use government to regulate their competition out of existence to single moms swiping EBT cards. It can’t last, but I suppose it’s good for some people while it lasts.

Leftists are not moral. Never forget that, because immoral, rebellious people don’t suddenly act with self control or sympathy. If, for example, you’re a person who believes in stealing (because we’re a rich country don’t you know), killing (it’s only an unviable tissue mass), or treating other people like pieces of meat to get your jollies off, you aren’t likely to be magnanimous in victory.
In reality its all about greed, votes & power.
The left gotten as far as they have by controlling the language & occupying the moral high ground. The GOP can strip all of those advantages away by simply acknowleging the truth.
If they don't take the opportunity they are either too stupid and/or cowardly to exist, or they are in league with the statists.
