How many American lives did we waste for these idiots?
Yeah, sure, right they will love us better if we elect bammy.
Arab thanks.
Absolutely. They should be paying us in oil for their liberation.
We need to change our philosophy.
If we decide to sacrifice American lives in another war, then we keep a piece of the land we shed blood for. In this case, we should have secured a portion of their oil resources permanently. Screw this nation building crap. We should have permanent bases with a lot of land and natural resources now in Iraq... forever.
Muslim Mantra:
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
They are cowardly vermin who can never be trusted.
We were better off with Saddam as dictator. I so regret supporting that G**-damned war there.
Liberation=a gift signed, sealed and delivered to Iran. The ONLY Iraqis deserving of our help were the Kurds.
We all knew this was coming!
IF this is not enough to cut foreign aid to all the middle east nothing is.
Those people do not want freedom on there own.
They want Americas money.
Nothing more!
The taxpayer Dollar that went to that country to liberate it is nothing.
But the Lives of Americans that fought for these people that allow this ilk back into their leadership are!
Look for Iraq to become the next Muslim Brotherhood ruled country and Ass kissed by 0!
Sadly, I agree. I supported Bush and Iraqi Freedom. While we just don't know what the M.E. would look like with Saddam still there, I do not know what benefit the USA rec'd for our efforts. Seems we simply turned Iraq over to Iran or the Islamists.
We should’ve made Iraq pay war reparations, and ditched the nation building. We’d be far less in debt now.
Yup! At least he kept everybody in line. We could have bought him off and kept him in place.
Not ‘just’ the 4,500 dead. How many tens of thousands maimed and crippled physically and mentally? How many marriages ruined and children scarred by repeated and extended deployments? What really is the price in blood and treasure? I think it is astronomically, incalculably high.
It p*sses me off to the point of near homicidal rage when I hear slimeballs like our democrat politicians mouthing off at what an ‘imperialist’ country we are. No other nation in the history of mankind would make this kind of investment in conquering and occupying a resource-rich region like this and then not exploit it. We are either the most altruistic nation ever or the most stupid - or both.
This may have finally pushed me into and beyond the Ron Paul camp. No more nation-building, saving, rescuing, bailing out ANYBODY. Let them stew in their own juices and if they become a big enough nuisance, turn them into subatomic particles.
I am framing a picture of Curtis LeMay for the wall of my office.
It rather interesting to watch the response to “one of” Iraq leaders’s comments. Does everyone agree with him, or is he shooting off his mouth like Barney Frank does?
Then you look at Europe itself, totally in the tank for the Palestinians. Whose men died to defend it?
Our own president, why he’s holding our energy product hostage too. He hates Israel, and loves the Islamic nations of the Middle-East, Africa, and Asia. How many died so he could be our ‘leader’?
Iraq has it’s problems. So does Europe. So do we.
For the next twelve years his own people continued to fear him more than they feared us; it should not have been left that way.
Allegiance?? The dumb Infidels just don't understand Islam and it's relationship to Infidels as spelled out in the Koran and Hadiths. -Tom
Iraq was a total waste of American blood. The only way to deal with the middle east is high altitude carpet bombing.
It was a hard judgment call to make, I don’t beat myself up over supporting the war.
I blame all of this Anti-American garbage from the new Iraqi state on the Bush Administration’s failure with the CPA and occupation, and Congress allowing Iran to replace us in influence.
None of us thought that Washington would do everything to cause an insurgency out of fear of an insurgency, and we were wrong.
The opening act is playing out in Gaza right now. hasta la muerte.
