Golden State turns to lead, now leads poverty rankings

The Golden State has reached a poverty rate that is now twice as bad as West Virginia’s and substantially worse than the rates of poverty in Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Texas, according to a new measure of poverty developed by the federal Census Bureau.

Democrat-run California earned its last-place rank under the federal government’s new measure of poverty, which incorporates more detailed analyses of welfare payments and the local costs of food, gasoline and housing California snatched the last-place prize from Mississippi, which had the highest poverty rate under the older and simpler measure, which gauged people’s ability to buy basic services and goods. Democratic California Gov. Gerry Brown’s office did not release a comment Nov. 15 about the new ranking, but did note that he would be attending a housing conference , the “Greenbuild International Conference and Expo,” in San Francisco Nov. 16.

notice how NOW after the election the people are poorer, sicker, fewer jobs to have, housing worse, student debt crushing more, more homeless.....

all in the plan because now we'll need another big fat stimulus up the arse for the bankers and the elites to steal....

Well, I’ll be damned: “enlightened” liberal policies do not create the socialist utopia that they purport they do?!?!? I’m sure that the argument will be: “if the few Republicans here would have not gotten in the way by being the party of ‘NO’, we could have accomplished more to prevent this”.

Yeah, right!!!!!!! Eat corn, maggots!

Great news that the Census Bureau had the balls to rejigger the way the measure poverty and that put California at the top — where they belong. So now, Mississippi, Alabama and West Virginia can look down their noses at California.

“We want Democrats! We want Democrats!”

“Only Democrats are compassionate!”

“After they enslave us and make us wholly dependent on them for our every need they treat us real good! So everyone should vote Democrat.”

Califorinia is the model for Obama’s America. There will be an upper class and a shrinking middle class, most of those will sink lower. Then there will be third world areas. When I get to travel there I drive my rental car into the barrios to get a sneak peek of what’s in store for all of us.

Indeed, California is fast becoming a fuedal state, populated by a handful of very wealthy and millions upon millions of poor, unskilled, uneducated immigrants and their decendants. Meanwhile, the middle class has been streaming out of the state for Texas, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado for decades. The only “middle class” to speak of in California will soon be unionized public employees.

Fascinating. So, part of the measure of poverty is the disparity between the richest of the rich and the poorest of the poor. The vast majority of the richest of the rich donated to the 0bama campaign. They need to have their wealth confiscated and redistributed. It is only fair, and are they not all about fairness? BTW, I am California born and bread here is getting really expensive.

Remember when Detroit was a rich, booming, ascendant metropolis?

Remember when California was a golden state?

Millions can neither learn from experience nor comprehend the obvious.
