Tell me how he was responsible for this crushing defeat? He as been there for less than 2 years. The die was already cast, what was he supposed to do? This is why we are losing. The left is determined and never waivers, they just keep on coming. They have the rest of us in panic mode, by design. It isn't Preibus’s fault it's our fault that things are the what they are. Did you want Preibus to be typing the words into Mitt's teleprompter? I understand the fear and panic, but geez. DO you really think a change in the RNC chairman is going to make things better? Maybe Boehner and the boys can pick the next one.

Well, I honestly have to say I don’t know how I feel on this one.
There is no doubt the GOP did very poorly in 2012. Whether a different guy (or woman) at the helm of the RNC would have made a difference, it’s hard to say. Priebus certainly has been stronger than Michael Steele, in that he was more consistent and far less likely to self-destruct in interviews.
There’s also the question of who we would nominate to replace him. It’s not impossible we could get someone a whole lot worse. Especially if we look solely at rhetoric. Replacing Priebus with the equivalent of a Sharon Angle isn’t going to do the GOP any good.

Come on, he is the one in charge and the RNC did a terrible job of getting out the vote!

No one here really has the brain capacity to slow down and think rationally. It's much easier to shout 'off with their heads' across the internets.
On the other hand, these same voices are impotent and are a good slip-and-fall away from life in a nursing home.

They need someone like a Newt, Palin or a Governor Walker. Someone that can bring excitement; who has logic like Thomas Sowell. A young Clint Eastwood. A conservative Country Western singer that the masses love. Time to think out of the box. Get hip, GOP-not same ole safe spokesperson. This guy was behind Romney the entire way. When we called his office, he was always saying, it would be Romney. Please, not him again.

Amen to that.
We need to have a serious search for a conservative candidate. If the Republicans want to run him - fine. If not, we should support him as a third party candidate.
I’d rather lose on a split vote to a third party than to keep losing by voting for a “moderate” on the Republican ticket and still end up with a communist President.

Do you realize that you included yourself in that comment?Shhhhhhhh. You'll wake the babies. ;)
The people who continually insist we snap-to and accord rapt, respectful fealty to the repeatedly-thumped likes of Reince Priebus and Karl Rove were also, by and large, the ones imbecilically chirruping the praises of "unskewedpolls.com" and Dick Morris this year, as well.
'Nuff Said.

These folks are almost as full of themselves, as they are full of S.
Time for some Conservative loyalist blood folks. The GOP needs about eight quarts of A positive Grand.

Its not impossible we could get someone a whole lot worse. We have heard this song before when Romney was put at the head of the ticket. You sure you want to dance to that tune again?
Actually we could not have done worse if we tried.
