NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -
A group of Wal-Mart workers are planning to stage a walkout next week on Black Friday, arguably the biggest holiday shopping day for the world's largest retail store.
The walkout builds on an October strike that started at a Wal-Mart in Los Angeles and spread to stores in 12 other cities. More than 100 workers joined in the October actions.
One of the workers who plans to join next week's walkout is William Fletcher, who works at a Wal-Mart in Duarte, Calif.

Why?
Yeah, they should definitely do this because their impeccable education, training and skills, coupled with our extremely low unemployment rate, will most certainly bring the evil corporation to its knees!
I can’t believe anyone is dumb enough to open a business in a state that allows unions.
Why? Because Wal-Mart is evil, that’s why.
are they trying to unionize??
For every one protesting, there are a hundred or more willing to take their job.
Normally I don’t support union-like tactics like “walk-outs”, but since one of the family owners (one of Sam Walton’s sons) is a big Obama supporter, I find it humorously ironic that this is happening to him, and therefore I have no problem supporting the employees in this particular case.
Oh good, thanks for the heads up. I bet that the Walmarts will be hiring back up employees and I hear that the unemployment numbers have gone up since the election.
Air traffic controller mentality?
I don’t understand. How does quitting their jobs do anything
I wish the local WalMart would have a walkout.
I need a job.
I would have their final paycheck ready as they left the store.
Agenda journalism? I’ve never heard of it before! ...
Walmart is not evil except in the eyes of anti business leftists. Walmart is the best run corporation in the world. Those of you who hate capitalism and business can’t comprehend the greatness of such a business entity.
tell me about it
This is a workers of the world unite stunt by Soros because 0bama is the puppet dictator now. Fire them! Let Holder sue.
Oh, ok.
(I know you are being sarcastic)
WalMart was my biggest competitor when I was hiring for retail.
They had the lowest turn over for cashiers, in retail the average is about six weeks, they kept their people on average twelve weeks.
Yea, its doesn’t seem like much but retail is really dog eat dog, and we could not (well steal) get their managers, no one wanted to quit WalmMart.
They held off the unions all these years and now it’s time to go to the matresses.
After Sam Walton Jr. backs Obama, I don’t care if they all die a quick and easy chapter 11.
I shop elsewhere...
Nail them for breach of contract (if they have one) and fire their butts!
