The petition has received more than 5,000 votes out of 25,000 needed for a White House response.

It's a free course in Finance 101.
Hey kids, what happens to Austin after the rest of Texas stops sending money to the University and the [former] state government?
And someone on this very forum said that the state of TX had it’s liberals under control. That they where not leaking out in to the state and taking over.
Texas, cut the cancer out now. Wall of austin. The only way to be rid of the cancer is to remove it.
hey, it happened successfully in Key West...
Do I have to sign a petition 25,000 times to secede form Colorado?
Even better, Texas breaks away and they get to keep Austin!
Austin: The “Gaza Strip” of Central Texas!
Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Austin, home of Hippy Hollow and wacked out treehuggers. Separating that liberal cesspool is the dream of every true Texan.
Hey, cool! Austin can be kinda like West Berlin. Only *they’d* be the commies and *we’d* be the good guys.
We’ll have a wall around the place to keep THEM IN, with barb wire on the top, and when they get hungry enough they’ll go over the wall into the rural areas beyond... and we’ll shoot ‘em.
I’m liking the concept the more I think about it.
Go Austin Go!
Across the floor
And out the door
>> Austin: The Gaza Strip of Central Texas!
LOL!
They better not even THINK about shooting missiles into Williamson County.
Does that mean we don’t have to pay the highest paid state employees salary anymore?... Mac Brown makes a lot
Does that mean we can build a wall around it and border checkpoints to keep the crazies in??
Yeah, but I want some good conservative neighborhoods in Austin to further succeeded from Austin.
Sounds like a win-win for the Republic of Texas.
Let them go!
Make it tremendously expensive to use Texas airspace and land routes to the outside world.
I’ve always thought if there were to be secession, it should be the red counties vs blue counties/cities (can’t think of any red cities). What then are those cities left with? Where will they get their food and water, materials with which to build? They wouldn’t need to be geographically contiguous, they could connect in the cyber world.
Works for me....means now A&M will certainly win the State recruiting battle.
Sounds like Berlin...
Permission granted. No permission to use our airspace or otherwise cross the border into Texas though.
