At a Thursday press conference in Bangkok, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said he's unaware of any more top military brass involved in the web of scandal uncovered by the investigation into Gen. David Petraeus's affair with his biographer, Paula Broadwell, the Associated Press reports.
The clarification comes now that the U.S. commander in Afghanistan, Gen. John Allen, has been sucked into the controversy after the discovery of potentially flirtatious emails with Tampa, Fla., socialite Jill Kelley.

Supposedly Petraeus won’t be under oath when he testifies, so who knows what he’ll say.
The sad part about this is that it’s most probably true.
Nothing will come of this. We’ve reached total corruption.
Perhaps one of the few good things that might come of this is that the MSM has lost what little believability they have had. They have given up their responsibility, and I shall count them as one of the enemy when CW-II starts.

Headline should read, “ Petraeus to testify, media ordered not to spread the scandal or dig any further.”

There is only ONE question the committee needs to ask SecDef Panetta. Did you or any of your staff receive a Cross Border Authority(CBA)order from President Barrack Obama??? YES or NO!!!
It’s as simple as that. If the answer is NO.....everything else is moot and the president should be impeached for dereliction of duty. If yes let’s see it.

I’m sure if that order was issued....it would be on the front page above the fold in the NYT and Washington Post and “Breaking News” on NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC every 15 minutes for the next 48 hours.

I believe the “yes, we built that” crowd should invoice every customer the true price of the good/service and surcharge with regulatory fees - much like when you get a car rental receipt with “airport concession fee” “franchise tax re-coupment fee” etc. It would be a useful effort for the US Chamber of Commerce to support. The O voters have no idea what they’re supporting, let’s teach them....
