THE funniest line on television. EVER. But the line was from Arthur Carlson, not Les Nesman. Poor Les was just giving a vividly accurate on-the-spot description of the turkey carnage, but it was "the big guy" who had the "As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly" line.

I must have checked it out before they started that. I just decided it was another fantasy about 140 lb women who could kick a 250 lb man's tuckus and turned it off.
OK, I know one of the women was supposed to be metal, but still...
I think it says a lot about how AMC puts shows together that the big “note” the Walking Dead guys got when they submitted the script for the first episode was “slow down”, they want characters to breath and grow, they aren’t looking for fast cycles of big reveals and scares, they want the audience to get to know them before killing them (how about that second season finale of Hell on Wheels, woh). I’m surprised your husband still like Walter White, the goal of the story arc is to finish the show with him hated, he’s gotten pretty unlikable at this point.
There is no doubt, Vince Gilligan is now the best showrunner in the business.

I don’t know why people get so upset about women beating up men. Most of the shows that have that female character they cheat, Sarah Connor was a cheap shot artist, same with Starbuck in the rebirthed BSG, then of course there’s the “girl” Terminator and Buffy with super powers. I know there’s a big crowd on FR that gets worked up anytime a woman wins a fist fight on TV, but if they were paying attention it usually works.
we received the Roku as a gift; you can get them at WalMart, Best Buy, Target. Hulu is subscription as is Netflix, once on Roku you can browse available channels and see which other ones you’d want to subscribe to. We also use Amazon for infrequent movie purchases—it goes to our existing Amazon.com account. We haven’t yet subscribed to GBTV (Glen Beck TV) but it’s available.
And, for some of the tv shows that I might miss, or forget to record, they are often available right over the internet—just browse for the specific show.
We currently tape Food Network Challenge, Walking Dead, Arrow, Haven, NCIS, Covert Affairs on routine basis, and then movies and other special shows as they are scheduled. Just wish we had more capacity on our cable’s dvr. We’ve got info on how to add capacity, we just need to find the geek to do it for us! :)

Which actually feeds into the problem the networks have. They don’t let show runners run their shows. Networks constantly micromanage their shows. The word I’ve seen from everybody on AMC is they get the standards and practices book and their budget and pretty much get left alone after that. The networks are so terrified of making mistakes they constantly make mistakes, AMC (and the other good networks) assume their show runners are professionals and let them earn their pay.
There was only one show AMC should have stepped in, that was Veena Sud’s dumpster fire, “The Killing.”
Yeah that one had issues. But sometimes you need to let things fail. They’re at a better hit percentage than any of the networks.
So, you have any idea how Breaking Bad will end? I think it’s all going to come back to Eliot and Graymatter.

I keep thinking about that flash forward that started the season. I think Walt’s come back to kill somebody, but got no idea why he left and who he’s gonna kill. Given how uptight he is about “brand value” I’m thinking somebody is making bad blue meth. But other than that I’ve got nothing.
Roku is a little box that allows you to stream from many Internet sources to your TV. Of course, you do need highspeed Internet and a router connected to your highspeed modem.
With Roku you can ‘subscribe’ to some free channels and pay channels. Pay channels include streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, etc.
If it weren’t for the NFL, I would never watch network TV. I haven’t watched network news or programming for 20 years. The only reason I know they still exist is that people talk about them on the internet.
I don’t believe this for a New York minute. Here on the ghetto side of town, the diversity crowds’ most mentioned numbers are the size of their wheels (22-26”) and the size of their flat screens (you ain’t shiite if it’s not 60-70”).
Someone treading on his intellectual property, is his powder keg. The Graymatter storyline and Gus’s background are still unresolved.
A lesson a lot of people need to learn. About a lot of things, not just TV.
