Obama Administration Named Holly Petraeus to $187,605-Per-Year Job

(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration named Holly Petraeus--wife of retired Gen. David Patraeus, who resigned last week as CIA director after revealing he had had an extra-marital affair--to $187,605-per-yer job in the newly formed Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

Nothing for or against Holly Petraeus but please ALSO focus on the fact this is another high-paying, Obama administration-created patronage slot....an artificial and unneeded sinecure to be filled by cronies and special toadies of the president and his White House elite thugocracy.

Reminds me of the 6-figure desk job given to Moochelle Obama at a Chicago hospital when her husband became an Illinois Democrat state senator.

When she left the job, it was SO necessary to the needs of the institution that it was immediately abolished.

Wow, it's so nice to catch up with free republic again! Suddenly all the 'war on women' accusations fit. I feel my blood pressure going up a little bit more with every nasty little comment.

Mrs. Petraeus was been an advocate for military families without pay for about 35 years before she got this job. She has been doing something, and she is doing something for military families. Maybe the salary is commensurate to her experience. It's good pay, for sure. But in the overfed world of government bureaucracy, I feel that she has been placed in an appropriate post.

I know many of the people here on these boards are current or prior military. I think you all are aware of the MANY scams that young (and older) military members fall prey to . You may also be aware that military members were victims of many illegal foreclosures in recent years. I think it's good that someone who actually knows what happens and has experienced it first hand or seen it close by and helped others navigate through problems caused by these things.... is in a position to be an advocate.

Okay, I will stop in the hope that y'all won't start slinging ugly names at ME. After all, I just turned 50 and could stand to lose a couple.

We're not talking models here, we're saying that Holly should try to take on the appearance of a woman who cares about HER appearance...she can well afford a trip to the hairdresser's for a decent haircut, color and style...all it takes IS effort, and Holly's having none of that.

There is no excuse for full-figured women today to be dressing like their grandmothers of old. Holly is trying way too hard to look dumpy, and only she knows why. Next to Petraeus, she looks like his older sister.

This whole affair stinks from top to bottom...the cast of characters are all intertwined, and they disgust me. Not to mention that oboma is picking off these generals one by one, to thin the herd and eventually install HIS OWN military force that he feels will be loyal to him.

Oh how I ache for my country and those of us who love this country...and what these socialist bastards are doing to destroy the Constitution, our Liberty and Freedom. It's Cloward and Piven, Rules for Radicals and everything I've read about oboma and what he has intended to do to us all from day one. And the masses, for one reason or another, coupled with massive voter fraud, turned a blind eye and ear and common sense to this socialist invader and voted for him! That is insanity, though I did hear today that oboma hired a team of psychiatrists to determine how he could psychologically pitch it to the public and have them vote for him. The evil pied piper applied himself, and the lemmings followed. And those who do the bidding of the left get mired in the evil that corruption produces, and it is just a huge cauldron of putrid, bubbling liquid of humanity who are destroying this great country and its culture.

There, I got it out of my system, and I know I speak for others as well, although I know others could express it more eloquently than I. And now on to reclaiming this country once again from the powers who currently are in play here. I will not lay down and give up, and while I'm fighting by resisting and not cooperating, I pray that one person who has the courage, the principles and fire within his/her belly WILL stand up and turn the tide for this country..don't know when or how this will happen, but I will fight for this turn of events with all my might. Amen.

I have no argument with Holly's working history. But, while I fault the General for his part in all of this, Holly is also at fault for what she did or did not do in her marriage to arrive at this point.

The whole cast of characters in this drama disgust me, and ultimately what it is doing to our country. Holly chose to work for oboma...we sure could have used her to get out the absentee ballots to all those military who NEVER received them, whose votes were never received in time to be counted, whose ballots were forged to reflect a oboma vote, as observed and testified to by a poll watcher in FL, who was thrown out of the polling place when he complained. She could have been plenty helpful in this capacity. But I digress here.

The most important thing to remember is that this faux president lied and men died. The enemy invader in our White House is attempting to destroy you and me and this country. oboma MUST be held responsible and dealt with accordingly. Wait and see and demand that justice will prevail here, that's all I do at this point, and it's over and out for me about Holly.
