On his Wednesday radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh warned his listeners not to have high expectations for embattled former CIA Director David Petreaus’ testimony on the Sept. 11, 2012 terror attack in Benghazi. The attack resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, but, according to Limbaugh, if Petreaus says anything differently than what he had said right after the attack, he could be branded a liar.
“If Petraeus goes in there and says anything different than what he said on Sept. 13, do you know the world of hurt that he’s in?” Limbaugh said. “What did he say on Sept. 13 — or whenever the testimony was — he said it was the video. He said it was an out-of-control mob, spontaneous-combustion protest, because of the video. OK, now let’s say that he goes into tomorrow and he, if he doesn’t say exactly what he said to Congress back in September, then he’s going to get the question: ‘Were you lying then, or are you lying now?’”

How well was Petraeus liked at the CIA? I can’t believe that 0bama steps on everyone / anyone and any group and they still band together to protect him? There will be a crack in the facade sooner or later. Someone will finally decide to put Country ahead of self and talk.
I’ve always wondered why he didn’t have his own investigators looking into everything since the Clinton Admin.

Fact One:
1) Only the POTUS can authorize a CBA (cross border authority) command for a rescue mission in a foreign nation.
Plus Fact Two:
2) No rescue mission was attempted.
Equals Fact Three:
3) 0bama turned his back on 41 State Dept. and CIA employees refusing to issue a CBA command and went to bed so he could go to Las Vegas the next day.
Too many “jounralists” have been raised, schooled and trained to pine for the global triumph of Marxism.
Now it is so close, they can taste it.
Perhaps just too busy hawkin’ beds and snapple and etc and etc . . .
Rush has been useless since the Day After Dan’s Bake Sale.

I don’t know; he did go there to investigate. I’d have to check the timeline but maybe there was an effort to spread the story at high levels and he was repeating what he was told in a briefing. Later, things didn’t add up so he went to check. Now is a good time to come clean, especially if he was lied to in a briefing
I'm with you, however, whether it's Limbaugh, the LEFT, or the politicians, ALL we seem to get is CONSTANT never ending rhetoric and NO ACTION of purpose.
This somewhat OLD ACT is wearing very thin.

We don't actually know what Petraeus said in his previous testimony. It was behind closed doors. It was a Democrat Rat Congressman on the committee who claimed that Petraeus said that the riot was spontaneous.
And BTW, isn't it against the law for the Democrat congressman to release such information.
I just read a news headline that read that the high priced “handlers” and news spinners that “handled” the Bill Clinton/Lewinsky affair have been called in to work their magic for Obama in the Petraeus affair. (Is that correct?)- Where is/was the Broadwell woman’s husband in all this?
Last time we heard about him, he was writing letters to the NY Times about his wife's affair.

Uh, that only works if it can be proven the CIA gave him the right information.
Right now, Petraeus has indicated the admin story line: it was a video protest turned rowdy.
Petraeus will cover for him, because I suspect there is more than just a Broadwell affair here. They have gone over his entire life with a comb.
And Petraeus can’t change his story now that he is a proven liar, as it relates to adultery.

we had our chance with Romney, and we blew it because no one on the right had a clue how massive the fraud would be....
