President Obama took aim at Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham today at his White House news conference. In recent days, some reports have speculated that Obama will pick U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to succeed Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.
Rice made headlines after the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi by going on several Sunday talk shows and blaming an anti-Islam video for the situation. Her account turned out to be false, with the White House later admitting it was a planned terror attack on the U.S. Consulate.
Earlier today at a news conference on the Benghazi investigation, McCain and Graham said they would oppose that nomination if it is made by Obama.
Graham said he is “dead set on making sure we don’t promote anybody that was an essential player in the Benghazi debacle,” and even said that he doesn’t trust Rice.

0bama said Susan Rice “had nothing to do with Benghazi”. He said that today in his press conference. If this is true, THEY WHY DID HE SEND HER OUT TO THE SUNDAY MORNING NEWS SHOWS TO ADDRESS BENGHAZI? INSTEAD, WHY DIDN’T HE ADDRESS THE NATION INSTEAD OF HER? HE STILL HASN’T TOLD US WHAT HAPPENED.
He said they shouldn’t go after Rice, but him. That’s ok by me.
Rush intimated today that Rice was chosen specifically because she has an inherent inoculation against any aggressive line of questioning because of her race.
Obama needs to tell us WHO is this foggy intelligence...and does Obama's 'loud' defense of Ms. Rice remind anyone of the beer summit and Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr.?
If Rice allows herself to be used so easily, wonder what else she has done for Obama and the United Nations...he assures us, Rice had nothing to do with Benghazi...ummmmmm........

Yes; Rush didn’t come out and say it, but it was very clear! Obama knows the GOP is so afraid being called racist that they wouldn’t DARE get tough with questioning her. Black, and a woman at that. (Those mean o’ white guys picking on the pathetic downtrodden black girl.) At some point in time, the GOP has just got to cross that line and do the right thing, without considering race.
Rice’s position had nothing to do with Benghazi, but it sure was convenient to have her stockpiled over there at the UN to haul out when needed. I can’t believe she’s not pissed to be used this way.
