In recent months, Levin has repeatedly pointed out that there is nothing in the Constitution that requires the Speaker of The House to even be an elected member of the House.

That’s an interesting thought. It would mean the losing presidential candidate could become the Speaker and fight directly against the person he lost to.

Gotta admit, it would be real strange to see Romney as the Speaker.

I wouldn’t want Romney to be the Speaker, but for the time being he is a handy example.
